We chose Celebrity because we heard raves about the food and the service. The food was very good,
sometime great. We were disappointed in the Dining Room Food and service on the first night. We thought
perhaps the dining room staff and galley were a little overwhelmed. But the food, presentation and service on
subsequent nights was truly wonderful. The dining room was elegant and wasn't noisy at all.

Room: Our room was an outside cabin without a veranda. It was neat, clean and very quiet. The bathroom had
lots of storage room and the shower was roomy. Our cabin steward tried to be helpful, but often we had to ask
for ice and towels.

Pool area: Lots of room for sunbathing, however, I was disappointed to find that the pool staff allowed deck
chairs to be saved, even though many signs were posted stating that deck chairs couldn't be saved.

Casino: Very beautiful and tasteful. The casino staff was professional and fun. Since we like to play Blackjack,
we were a little disappointed to find only $10.00 minimum tables (we usually do $5.00 minimum) The different
dealers were fun and made sure you were having a good time whether you were winning or losing.

Entertainment: The show lounge was absolutely beautiful. The entertainment staff always looked like they
were having a great time.

The Martini Bar: This was our favorite place. It was tucked back in the Lounge area, but the young lady from
the Philippines (I can't remember her name) who was bartending was a gem. We made a habit of stopping to
have a martini every night before dinner. After the first night, she remembers what we drank and always came
over to talk to us for a while. On the last night, we gave her a generous tip and she actually cried!!!! She gave
both me and my huband big hugs and hoped we would sail on her ship in the future. She really made our
cruise special.

Embarkation: Very smooth. We chose to book our own flight. Arriving in Fort Lauderdale and getting to the
port is very easy. The cab was inexpensive. We arrived at the cruise terminal and were given a number. The
helpful cruise staff helped us fill out the necessary forms and we were call to check in less than 30 minutes
after we got there. We were met at the ship by delightful cruise staff in white gloves who lead us to our cabin.
Our luggage arrived within 30 minutes. The only complaint I had about the luggage delivery was that they
didn't put it in the cabin, but just stacked it outside the door. It made the hallways very crowded.

Debarkation: We didn't have to wait very long to leave the ship. I was disappointed in how disorganized the
luggage area was. We found our luggage easily, but finding a porter or even a cart was next to impossible.

Bottom Line: We loved the ambiance aboard the Century and the service was outstanding for the most part.
We are planning our next cruise for this winter and will definately book our trip with Celebrity again!!!

This was our first cruise. We considered Carnival, Royal Carribean, Holland America, Princess and NCL. We
chose Celebrity based mostly on the median age of passengers and also on itinerary. We wanted an almost
sedate trip - we were pretty burnt out - but if we got our energy back, we wanted to have some easy to
moderate activities to occupy us.

We booked late (only a month before sail date) and got on. And even still, the ship was fully booked at sail
date. We opted for the Arranged Air, as our local hub airline jacks up prices, and we flew for comparable rates
than if we booked air ourselves. What we gained was assurance that Celebrity would gaurantee we got on the
ship regardless of air delays and handled luggage at Ft. Lauderdale, and what we lost was a nonstop return
flight. next time, I'll arrange the air myself. Coming back to the real world stinks if you spend all day in airports
afterwards. Also, the ft. lauderdale airport Cruise Representative did not meet us at the gate as we had been
told - we found them in the airport lobby.

Embarkation in Port Everglades was painless with minor complaints about available seating at the terminal.
Also, the two Celebrity signs outlining what forms to have filled out were not consistent, leading to confusion.

Upon boarding the ship, we were escorted to our cabin by an attendant via the elevators. Suggestions of
using the stairs go unnoticed, a drawback for claustrophobic persons, as they cram you in the lifts.

The cabin itself was roomy enough to avoid criticism. We had a larger full window, and joined double beds.
Space usage was exceptional, with plenty of storage, a minibar and an electronic safe. Shower facilities are
quite roomy, beyond being able to turn around - you can actually use the hand shower without clunking it on
walls. one of our nightstand lights as burnt out - we informed our cabin attendant immediately, and it was fixed
before departure. Oh, and we also had to request the she unlock the minibar.

One thing I have great praise for is the communication medium - The Century Daily is an onboard daily
newsletter outlining all schedules, highlights - everything you need to know about the days operations. Thus,
not a single public announcement beyond embarkation/disembarkation/tendering, port clearances and safety
drills were heard. This was a major plus in my book! I forgot about the hundreds and hundreds of people
making my trip work out.

Dinners in the Grand Restaurant were looked forward to every night. We requested late seating, but got
pushed into main seating. (It is just a request after all.) We're glad we did. By 6 every day we were hungry!
Our waiter was an fine example of European style, and his asst. waiter picked up on our preferences from day
one. Separation of the food staff from the drink service is a good idea - we also had a separate wine steward
and a bar waiter, who also remembered our preferences right away.

Our large table (which we had requested) was filled with friendly, interesting people who we all count as
permanent friends now.

The Islands Cafe made a wonderful breakfast buffet - a not so good lunch buffet. We ate handburgers and
hot dogs and pizza for lunch after the first day, but ate in Islands every morning.

The spa services are extensive and spendy. Watch the daily for discounted specials and combos. My wife had
nothing but good things to say about the beauty salon - she had her hair put up for the 2nd formal night - the
rude people she observed there were other passengers, while the personnel put up with them.

We were told by our travel agent to book shore excursions early if were going to do them. We did so on day 2
at sea, and were glad we did. One of them had already filled up - we did, however, get the same one, just a
later departure.

We did not take our kids on this furst cruise. We did however check out the kids programs on the Century. We
felt they did not measure up to the reasearch we did regarding other cruise lines, and would not bring our
children on this ship. We will definitely cruise Celebrity again for the two of us, tho.

PORTS AND SHORE EXCURSIONS:

OCHO RIOS: We did the bus tour with the Falls. The bus tour stopped at the botanical gardens - this is a
wonder walking tour - be prepared for some stair climing, but well worth it for plant lovers. In Jamaice, the
plants are the attraction - so much color! Climbing Dunn's River Falls should be done at least once, if not
twice. just be sure to veer left early on exit, and don't follow the EXIT signs, or you'll be routed through hawker
and pawners alley, which had the distinct aroma of marajuana blanketing it. The shopping is not great, and is
high pressure.

GRAND CAYMAN: We all know that Grand Cayman requires you to ferry from the ship to shore in tenders
here, right? Don't let it put you off! Grand Cayman is a wonderful place! The Century's tenders, while frequent
in service (every 10 minutes) are quite hot and not well ventilated, making sunny days rough for tendering.
Bring a hand fan and water if it's warm and sunny. The shopping here is good for watches - shop as many
stores as possible for the brand and model you want - they all offer discounts, some substantially lower than
others, even between ship-recommended stores. We took the Stingray City snorkeling shore excursion - what
an experience! This is a must do, just like swimming with dolphins or climbing Dunn's River Falls in Ochie. And
it leaves plenty of time for wandering in Georgetown. If you are enthralled with the idea of offshore banking
and/or expatriatism, there is a ncie bookstore with Cayman specialty books in the main cruise tourist shopping
district to pick up more info. Next time, I will rent a car to explore Grand Cayman - we WILL be going back.

COZUMEL: We actually opted to disembark via ferry early AM for Playa del Carmen on the Yucatan for a
shore excusrsion to Xcaret, an eco-archeological park with tinges of a theme park. To the degree Xcaret is a
tourist attraction, it is also a magnificent place to spend your day in Mexico. We elected to reseve our spot to
swim with dolphins in Xcaret. It is substantially less expensive to do this here than in the states. It was US$55
per person, vs. US$80 or $100 n the states; and where a video of your encounter in the US runs $40 or $50, it
was $30 in Xcaret. The pool was a natural pool staffed by Via Delphi personnel, who are definitely on a
mission to protect dolphins and educate others about them. The dolphins were treated like kings here. Worth
every penny. Xcaret's coral reef aquarium is also very high quality with excellent instructional interpretive
material. I could have spent a day or two here exploring everything. The air conditioned ferry ride back to
Cozumel where the ship was pleasant. Once back, we elected to shop downtown. Taxi service the International
Pier is good with fixed rates to destinations. Remember to use the same Taxi company back - if you don't,
agree on the fare before leaving. The prices in Cozumel are discounted well - this was the best shopping port
of all on this cruise. The warning: it's HOT.

KEY WEST: We weren't real impressed with this port. It's a pain to disembark due to US re-entry customs, and
there is not a lot to see except t-shirt shops, bars and many victorian houses. Many little gift shops, much junk
in them. A trolly ride is a nice way to see it all and say you have. Expect spotty service in some restaurants in
Key West.

Disembarkation back in Florida was painless. Very organized.

This was my first cruise with Celebrity Cruises. I had previously been on the Nordic Empress of Royal
Caribbean and decided to give Celebrity a chance after reading all the reviews. My husband and I arrived at
Port Everglades at 11am and were handed a card stating we were in boarding group 2. We sat and watched
as the room filled up with more and more people. Finally around 1pm, they called group 1 to check in. Group
2 was called shortly afterwards. After checking in we were escorted up an escalator, to another room to wait
again. We finally were on the ship around 1:45pm. My chin must have hit the ground when I walked on the
ship. The Century is absolutely beautiful. I found myself in awe everytime I entered a new area on the ship.
The Grand Restaurant is so beautiful. It was a treat to be escorted to our cabin. The cabin was very well
designed. To my surprise the showers were actually very decent. The water pressure was better than I get at
home. One complaint was the temperature of the water seemed to occasionally change dramatically while
showering. There was plenty of closet space for all my luggage. I never saw much of our cabin steward Daniel
but I knew he was around.

The cabin was clean everytime we returned to it. We always had a fresh bucket of
ice and water, clean glasses, new towels, you name it. We were on the Vista deck (deck 9) and never heard
any noise or felt any vibration as we pulled into port or left. We met a couple who was on deck 4 and they did
say the noise of pulling into port would wake them up but other than that it was quiet. Although one morning I
was trying to sleep in but the other cabin had their TV on so loud, it was impossible to sleep. I could also
occasionally hear someone from the next cabin laughing or sneezing as well, so the walls are kinda thin. I had
heard how good the food was on the Century and I have to totally agree. I found myself having to try
everything and not being let down. The waiter Saglik was wonderful. He always brought our table an extra
plate of food which he thought we shouldn't miss. Our assistant waiter was as efficient as the waiter. They
truly made our dining experience a wonderful one. I have to say that the food served at Island Cafe on deck
11 was very disappointing. The eggs in the morning were runny, the bacon was burned, etc. Although the
service in Island Cafe was excellent. I never once had to carry my own tray to a table. One thing Celebrity is
outstanding with is service.

Their attention to detail is incredible. The Grand Midnight Buffet was not to be
missed. What they can do with food is amazing. We had late seating dinner so we never actually ate at the
midnight buffet but we had to go and at least see the food. The Century had such a variation of things to do
on board. They really do cater to all types of people. Days at sea, the pool and deck chairs were pretty full so
my husband and I stayed inside and found numerous things to do. From attending an art auction, seeing a
movie, improving on our golf skills, playing bingo, etc. The daily newsletter they gave us was very informative
and became our bible while on board. It listed anything and everything you would need to know for that day.
Entertainment was pretty good for the most part. We did try to make it to the Celebrity Theatre every night
after dinner. One night the performer was a man known as The Man with a 1000 Voices and he was so
entertaining. He had all of us in tears laughing. We attended karoake one night and were surprised to see
that so many others attended and participated as well. Really entertaining evening. Debarkation went fairly
smooth too. When I heard the cruise director Jim Cannon say we should all be off the ship and on our way to
the airport by 10am, I thought he was joking. He wasn't. I can't say enough praises for Celebrity Cruises and
the Century. I will definitely book another cruise with them, no doubt about it and be happy if my cruise
experience is half as good as it was on the Century.

When you arrive in Ft. Lauderdale you are greeted by Celebrity personnel who give you a number for
embarkation. This process went very smoothly. Once we arrived on board we were escorted to our cabin by
a gentlemen who was also escorting another couple to their cabin near ours. He took their bags but could
not take ours and he crammed us in an elevator with at least 10 other people with bags. The elevator was
not a normal size it was quite smaller so you can imagine our first impression.

The cabin was a decent size, the beds were already pushed together to make a king which left substantial
room on both sides of the bed. We had an inside cabin no big deal. We didn't miss the window at all. The
bathroom was a decent size. It had a shampoo and lotion dispenser in it. We had a place to hang our wet
bathing suits. There was a T.v. but the channels were very limited. There was ample storage space so you
could completely unpack if you wanted to.

All the eating areas were very nice and the dance/lounge areas were nice as well. All the public areas were
very nice and not crowded at all. My only complaint regarding this was the lobby. You barely new it was
there at all unless you had a reason to go to guest relations. The shops were nothing to write home about
compared to Royal Caribbean's.

The first night we went to dinner in the formal dining room and got acquainted with our waiters. We also
found out the soft drinks were not included which was different than on previous cruises again Royal
Caribbean. The waiter was attentive but the assistant could never seem to keep our water glasses full or
give us salad dressing and cocktail sauces in time with the meal. We had to wait to eat our salads or
appetizers until he finally came around to us, and our meals felt very rushed, as soon as menus were
passed out our orders were taken, plates were taken away without being finished with them, questions
seemed to be annoying to them. Also our dining experience was tainted because of the children sitting
behind us. All the parents were at one table and the 5 children ranging in age from 13-5 were at their own
table, big mistake!!! I have no problem with children nor did these bother me it was the parents I was angry
with. They were screaming across the room for the waiter who incidently was the same as ours so that's
what I contribute to the not so excellent service we received instead of what positive things I heard about.
The children were burning their food in the candle. Things got so bad we had to speak to the Maitre D about
their behavior. It only corrected it for a couple of nights then they were back to the same old stuff. On the
last formal night they hit me with a piece of breadstick. I was appaled that after we brought the problem to
the attentions of the Maitre D and our waiter several times nothing was done. This really affected our dining
experience. The food was excellent along with the desserts. All the food seemed to be prepared french style
since the head chef for Celebrity is from France.

The first stop was Jamaica, what a scary place this was. My husband, my mother and I didn't take any
excursions all we did was walk in to town to the Taj Mahal to go shopping. My father went snorkeling off a
boat and absolutley loved it. The next stop was Grand Cayman again we took no excursions but walked into
town. It was nice it reminded me of a run down New England town. Cozumel was wonderful, we took the
Tropical Jeep Safari tour we had a blast!!! It was the most fun we had all week. Two tour guides take a
caravan of Jeeps through the town of San Miguel to see a ruin (tiny) and then on to a beach. Most of the trip
is off-roading. We had a great time. After the tour they let people who wanted to go into town drive the jeep
there (still following a tour guide) and you only had to take a taxi one way back to the ship. This saved us a
lot of time and also $5.00. Eduardo and Luis were hysterical!!! Key West was beautiful and a lot of shopping
you really need several days to see it all.

The at sea days were the formal days which was very convenient. They taught ballroom dance lessons,
trivia contest, sock hops, Karaoke and so much more. One thing I will tell you is if you are interested in
taking a tour of the Bridge, as soon as you get on the ship go to guest relations and request a tour. They
took pictures everywhere you went and for the formal nights as well. The pictures left a lot to be desired,
and they were outrageously priced compared to other cruises.

The entertainment was ok. The only thing that stands out is the band Oasys they were fantastic!!! They
were very diverse with their music (Reggae, country, classic, easy listening). The shows were just ok nothing
spectacular, the Celebrity Orchestra needs a little work staying together.

Getting on and off at the ports was very easy and even disembarkation back in Ft. Lauderdale was very
easy.

I would go on this cruise line again but I would probably check Royal Caribbean as first choice.

I am a cruise only travel agent and have experienced many cruise lines and many different iteneraries. I
have been on Royal Caribbean, Disney, Carnival, Holland America and Cunard, and this was at least equal
to Cunard and above the others. The Century is a beautiful ship, the service and food is right up there with
the best. This was a cruise to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and my birthday with our best friends
who were also celebrating their 30th. This was a fun cruise for us as we are a very 'young at heart' 50.
There were plenty of couples our age and also many in their 20's, 30's, 40's and older.

The midnight buffets were beautiful, and the food as a whole was great. The lunch buffet in the Island Cafe
was good but felt that they needed a bigger variety. The dinners in the main dining room was wonderful. Our
wait staff were very good to accomadate us in whatever we requested. On the very first night I asked for
lemon for my water, and from that night on, our assistant waiter brought it without another word. He and our
head waiter (Rey) knew everyone's name after the first night, and addressed us my name every time.

The entertainment was very good, some nights better than others like any other cruise line. The cruise
director was great. Normally I like women cruise directors best, but he was very funny, and had the right
personally needed for the job. All of the entertainers were friendly if you saw them around the ship and the
talent was very good. Our room stewardess was very good. We asked for a few extras, and she always
provided what we needed almost invisably. She always kept our cabin spotless. This is the cleanest ship I
have ever been on. They were always cleaning to keep it that way.

The shore excursions were good for the most part. The only one we were very disappointed in was the Key
West regatta, where you were supposed to learn to sail and race a catamaran. The guy that took us out
obviously didn't know what he was doing and it was not fun at all. It was very hot, and our boat bearly
moved. Everyone on all the boats were disappointed and we asked for our money back. We were credited
half. We did the Dunes River Falls, and that was great, as was Sting Rey City in Grand Cayman. The best of
all was the snorkel trip we took in Cozumel for advanced snorkelers. We went out to a gorgeous reef and did
drift snorkeling, which was different from any we had ever done. It was the highlight of the trip. The trip
coming back on the boat was a blast. It was a smaller boat, so there weren't so many people, and the beer
flowed freely. Then came the shots of Tequila and the Caribbean/Mexican music, and it was so much fun.

As a whole, this was a great trip. There is very little that was not just great. We will probably do another
Celebrity cruise this year, maybe the Millenium or wait until next year for the Infinity. As far as I'm concerned,
I'm a convert to Celebrity.

The Celebrity Century is the nicest ship we have cruised on by far. My husband and I usually take at least
one cruise per year, as we feel it is a good value and because we do not have children. We chose April 29
because we knew there would not be a lot of children on the ship, as most kids are still in school at that time.
Turns out there were very few children...we saw very few children the whole time, which we liked. We cruised
once in June on Carnival and the ship was jam packed with children and teenagers, which did not make for
a good nights sleep.

The Century is a beautiful ship, very clean and has a great staff. The cabin was much roomier than we had
anticipated, but for a 7 day cruise could have been just a bit wider. The shower was much bigger than on
most ships. On most ships you can barely turn around in the shower because it is so small. A very nice
surprise was that the bathroom had lotion, Q-tips, and little things that no other cruise line provides...it was
such a nice touch. Another nice touch was the free canvas tote bag provided, which came in very handy.

We were very impressed with the amount of closet and drawer space, which is usually quite limited on most
ships. We had plenty of room for everything, and we stowed our empty suitcases under the beds.

The itinerary was fine, although we did not care for Jamaica. We did not do alot of shopping in any port, as
we are not big shoppers. The tenders to Grand Cayman were the ship's life boats, which were extremely hot
and uncomfortable, which is why we chose not to go back into town to shop after our shore excursion.
Cozumel was crowded and very hot. We had been there before, but had not been into town. We did not stay
in town long to shop. Our favorite place was Key West. We took the one hour trolley tour and walked around
for several hours shopping. I found a beautiful tanzanite ring, but did not buy it, although we would have felt
very comfortable buying it in an American port, as purchases there are tax free as well.

The ship was very clean. Our cabin steward was a sweetheart...we hardly ever saw her, but our rooom was
always made up and stocked with ice. Our waiter and asst waiter were both great. Our dinner/table mates
were the best. We have been very lucky on all of our cruises to sit with the best bunch of people!! We sat at
a table for 10 but ended up only having 8 people. I cannot say enough about how nice everyone was...one
of our table mates also submitted a cruise review (James Federline)!!

I did notice that there were quite a few older people on this particular cruise. By older I mean in their 70's
and possibly 80's. It may have just been the time of year that we sailed, but I would say that half the ship
was of this "older" crowd, which is fine by me because we would much rather sail with older people than with
a lot of kids and teenagers.

We would definitely cruise the Century again. We have cruised on Norwegian (in 1989); the Carnival
Tropicale (did not like); and Royal Caribbean (Nordic Empress and Sovereign of the Seas)and the Celebrity
Century has been the nicest and the cleanest by far. It did not hurt that the ship is only 4 years old. We
would recommend the ship to anyone!!

THis was our 3rd cruise with Celebrity and our 17th overall. We are Florida residents and a bus was
supplied to take us to the port at noon.. We are captains club members and we had to wait about 1/2 hour
before boarding began. A staff member went around the waiting area and checked documents to make sure
that all paperwork was filled out properly. When our number was called,it took less then 5 minute to check
us in. We were brought upstairs and waited till 1:00 in a very comfortable room until we boarded. We were
escorted to our cabin, and met our cabin attendant. We had 3 people in the room and towels were provided
for 2,we had to call housekeeping for more towels. The rollaway bed was also in the room and we had it
taken out. The cabin had more than enough room for 3 people with luggage stored under the bed. Once
our cabin attendant(Joyce) got the hang of it,she rolled the bed out during the day and returned it at night.
The only negative thing on the entire cruise was that we had to constantly remind her to do this.

Our first meal was a buffet in the Islands cafe, the salads were fresh and crispy, the hot items were hot and
tasty, and the desserts and bread were to die for(Needless to say we put on some weight). Our luggage
arrived at 3:00 and we unpacked, went up for the lifeboat drill, and joined an excellent caribbean band on
deck for sailaway(Oasys) I wont bore you with details, but the food was excellent both in taste, selection and
presentation. Our waitstaff(Carlos and Felipe) were friendly, and extremely efficient, I can't say enough about
them. We were at a table for 7. The entertainment was better than we have seen on Celebrity in the past(3
production shows,3 Variety shows) They have 2 deck parties, one with a Caribbean theme and one with a
Tex-Mex theme, both went to the wee hours, again the food served at these 2 parties was excellent. The first
port was Jamaica,we had fun climbing the falls at Dunns River, but the port is getting uglier every time we go
there, and I noticed that next year the Milennium will not call on Jamaca. Grand Cayman was fun,we did the
stingray city tour, and on hindsight, next time I go there,I will save money and book a tour on the pier from
one of the many boats going out to that area<(about a 15.00 saving per person.) Cozumel was next, and we
took a cab to Chankanaab for snorkeling, and found out that the government raises the admission price to
the park when cruise ships are in port( but it was still cheaper that buying the ships tour whic was 30.00 per
person, a cab and admission cost us about 12.00 each. In the afternoon,we did Carlos and Charlies. Next
day was at sea to recover, pool games on deck or just relax. Our last stop was Key West, shopping, people
watching, and conch fritters. Disembarkation was a breeze,we were off the ship with luggage in hand in 15
minutes The only negative comments I have about the ship were minor, some of the furniture in the show
lounge is getting worn, and the coffee on deck was undrinkable, but all in all it was a wonderful cruise and I
wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone, and they did "excede my expectations"

Talk about service!! I felt like a millionaire from the moment I got on board to the moment I stepped off the
ship. My entire family (8 of us) took a shuttle to Logan airport in Boston to catch our nonstop flight to Miami
as part of the air/sea package. When we arrived at the airport, the shuttle door was opened for us by a
Celebrity Cruise Rep! She asked us If we were going on a Celebrity Cruise to which we all chimed YES!! As
the porters grabbed our bags, she led us into the terminal and before us was this huge mob. She informed
us the crowd was for Princess Cruises and led us to an empty ticket window for our chartered flight. As we
processed the luggage we learned that a good portion of the mob in the line next to us was taking our flight
to Miami!! So as we were directed to the gate our fellow flyers were left behind us to suffer. And so our trip
began.... Due to the Princess mob the plane was delayed 1 hour and we arrived in Miami at 3 o'clock pm.
The ship was scheduled to leave at 4 but the Rep that met us and the other 20 Celebrity passangers on our
flight say not to worry the ship wasn't leaving without us.

We jumped on to the shuttle bus for the 30 or so
minute ride to FT Lauderdale. When we arrived at the terminal it was empty. Everyone else had boarded
and we were the last group to go onboard. After a quick checkin we headed up the gangway to notice
eveyone on deck with their life perservers on. We had missed the lifeboat drill!! There was no photographer
there to take our picture boarding the ship. I didn't mind about the photographer but my parents and I were
not happy they ran the lifeboat drills without all the passengers on board. We were escorted with white
gloves to our cabins and shown everything. We quickly got settled and ran up on deck to watch as the ship
cast off. After a drink ($6.50 for a Bahama Mama, You keep the glass) we headed back down to the cabins
to get ready for dinner. We were surprised to find our luggage had arrived in about an hour. The cabins
were cmfortable and spotless and kept that way all week thanks to Sonja our stewardess.

Dinner and all
meals in the main dining room were excellent. Ujuilian our waiter was top notch as was Robert our Bus boy.
They really made the trip!! And the Wine steward and Maitre'd were also helpful and professional. We had 2
children and 6 adults at our own table. Ujuilian and Robert worked tirelessly to please us. They served
dinner quickly but without rushing us. (we had early seating) and performed trickes for the kids and made us
all laugh. Needless to say we missed them greatly when we returned home. The one negative thing I have to
mention was the shrimp cocktail. I ordered it expecting shrimp with the tail on it and some cocktail sauce to
dip it in. What I got instead was a bowl of cocktail sauce with microscopic shrimp mixed in it! My only
dissapointment in the food department. Everything else was wonderful and tasty. The Ship itself was so
beautiful. The crew did a wonderful job keeping her clean and the brass polished. The pool was a nice place
to hang out during the day. Some people would save chairs by placing towels over them and not return for
hours or not at all. We always found chairs though. If the twels didnt move in 10 minutes... the chairs were
ours.

The band kept the pool a hoppin place and there were pool games and contest going in the afternoon
that were alot of fun. And the waiter were always there when you needed them but never pushy. The Casino
was nice and I saw alot of winners on the slots through out the cruise. I played Blackjack and won about
$150 on the first night but paid it all back slowly thru the week. The musical shows were ok according to my
mother who took them all in. I saw a couple of shows featuring a couple of brothers that juggled and did
comedy. I had seen them on TV and at one point they pulled a guy out of the audeance to assist them. It
was the same guy they pulled out of the audiance on TV!! They were still funy though and were very good
jugglers. The other act was a comedian from NY. I had seen him on TV also and like his act alot. He also did
an R rated show on the last night and was so funny the audiance would't let him off the stage. It was a clean
but adult show 'I bought a blowfish at a fish shop. I spent 2 hours in the tank and nothing happened'.
Diembarking was sad but quick. We were the last group called off and were off by 10:30 am.

We had a
beautiful trip and the charter flight home was the only real diaster!! The Flight was delayed 3 hours and
then after assigning seat to everyone they found out during boarding that they had used the wrong plane
type seat assignments. We had a DC10 and they used a MD80 seat list. So they called Open seating and
all hell broke lose as everyone fought to sit togeather. Then they anounced that Logan Airport was closed
due to radar failure and we would be going to Portsmith New Hampshire and they would bus us to Boston.
So we got into Boston at 1AM instead on 8:30 PM I'm afraid to try another cruise line after the great time we
had on Celebrity. Why try the rest when you've had the best! I joined the captians club as did all the adults
and we are looking forward to our next cruise with celebrity. Everyone enjoyed themselve and the only thing
we will do differently next time is book our own flights.

Back to Celebrity Century
