This is my second cruise I've been on, the first being with RCCL. The first one hooked me and now I'm a cruise fanatic. I have tried to go on a cruise every
year since my first, but sometimes unexpected things happen and I have to wait a little longer to go. But, overall the Century was a great ship. I went in
the winter and was expecting a warm, delightful, sunny cruise. Well, that's the one thing I didn't get much of. We had rain everyday while aboard. It wasn't
bad, but the seas were really rough!!! I got sick the first day, but after that, I was fine! Not to discourage travelers that think they might get sick - the first
cruise, I didn't get sick at all, but when the seas are really rough, that's what did me in!

When we arrived, there were 8 in my party. We had 4 to a cabin. The cabins were very nice for 4 people. I was surprised, but we all fit everything in and
had room to walk around. We were hardly ever in our cabins, so I never really thought of the room being small.

My first impression of the ship was the Grand Foyer. I wasn't impressed at all, due to the fact that the other foyer's on ships were much more elaborate
and open. This didn't bother me but just for a second, b/c I didn't spend that much time there, anyway! But, if you are looking for elegance and a grand
setting, try RCCL.

The dining room was wonderful, as well as the food. I enjoyed every- thing I ate. I was also very stuffed after meals. The waiters are very customer
focused and really show you a good time. I liked the dining room being on the end of the boat, but sometimes I felt the ship move more than I wanted
while dining. (Like I said, I have a queasy stomach). But, the view was wonderful during the day. It made you feel like you were a King/Queen.

During the days at sea, I spent most of my time at the Pool/Deck area. I was told that this was the most stablized place on the boat, being the center and
at the top of the boat, so I was up there for the majority of the day. The pool activities were fun. We played games and our cruise director was a lot of fun.
The only comment I have about our cruise director is that towards the end of the cruise, I was so tired of hearing him say the same things over and over. I
know he had too, but during a horse racing game, he kept saying the same numbers over and over and it really got on my nerves.

The entertainment wasn't the best I've seen. It was overall good, but I think they could probably do a little better. The lounges were all very nice. My family
and I played Pictionary one day while it was raining and we had a blast. We didn't want to stop, but the weird thing is, we were in the card room and we
saw maybe 3 people walk by. I have no idea where the people are, but you don't see them unless you go out of your way!

The only really bad comment I have is about our cabin. During the night, the seas were rough and the boat creaked like crazy! I am a very light sleeper
and everytime the boat hit a wave, we heard it- through the walls. (not the wave, but the creaking of the boat). It was really irritating and a lot of people
complained about it. I know there probably wasn't anything or anyone to be able to fix the problem, but just for this reason, I don't know if I would choose
this boat again, b/c of the creaking.

The excursions were fine. My family and I did our own thing, we didn't take any of the ships excursions. We didn't have any problems with finding taxi's.
The people were very friendly. I think the most fun we had was driving around on Moped's one day. All 8 of us rented mopeds and drove around an island
which was a blast.

I would recommend this cruise line, but I think next time I would like to plan a trip when the seas weren't as rough. I think we just ran into some bad luck,
b/c our first cruise was a blast. I know that the weather has nothing to do with rating the ship, but I don't know if an engineer could remedy the creaking
noise when ships do enter into bad weather!?!

OH, and for honeymooner's - this is a perfect honeymoon. The first cruise with RCCL, my husband and I purchased the honeymoon package and it's worth
it. By the end of the wedding, all you want to do is relax and not worry about making another decision - and this is a perfect place to do it, on a ship where
you don't have any worries at all!!!

The second time I went, I was with my family and it was a blast, too! I enjoyed being able to dine with my family and we would discuss the days excursions
and what we wanted to do the next day - and of course, we would eat each other's food if we wanted to taste test each item. It's a lot of fun!!! And, being
with your family and friends, you always have someone that will want to do something with you, be it dancing or playing table tennis. It's a blast.

If anyone has any questions about cruising, feel free to email me. I recommend cruising to everyone!!!
