The ship: This is a beautiful ship. The overall feeling is one of understated elegance with clean, soft lines and colors. The highlight of the ship is
definitely the Grand Dining Room. It is the grandest I have ever seen afloat.

Our cabin: very clean and comfortable with many user friendly conveniences like a fridge, a safety deposit box, an interactive TV. Highlights:
excessive closet space, perfect shower with an absolutely non-slip floor.

The food: Imaginative; the best (even better than the food on the Royal Viking Sun with her 'cordon bleu' chefs). Lobster was tender and succulent;
rack of lamb, perfect. Highlights: sorbets of fresh local fuits like 'guayabana' and 'mango'; the deserts; ice cream ( and I do not eat ice cream,
except Italian gelato). TIP: We had full breakfast in our cabin every day. We tipped our steward to go to the galley for items outside the room service
menu. Breakfast is one of the luxuries of a great holiday; it is even better in bed. TIP: There is nothing elegant about their elegant tea time in the
afternoon. Skip it if you expect 'elegant'.

The service: excellent. The waiter, the busboy and the steward were perfect in every way. I have been on a 'no tipping' cruise. Is was not the same.
The tipping system works.

The entertainment: The production shows were mediocre. The soloists were good. Pamela Blake, the original Broadway Evita, was great. The ship
has a superb venue, equipped with all the latest production gadgets; the production shows failed miserably to live up to the high standards of the
venue - and I even set my standards really low. Needs a good director.

The itinerary: The ship was the itinerary. She did not disappoint.
