Embarkation-Since we drove to Fort Lauderdale, we parked in the garage at the pier. It was very convenient and cost $42.00 for the week. A shuttle bus
provided transportation to and from the garage. Upon arrival, we were given embarkation number 16, so it took about 45 minutes to board the ship. We were
surprised to have been upgraded from cabin 8064 to 1099, which was two decks higher on the ship. Our cabin was beautifully decorated and very efficient.
There was more than enough storage space. And it was spotless. Our cabin steward, Robert was wonderful. The food in the Dining Room was everything we
expected and more. Wolfgang, our waiter, deserves a 100. My only complaint is that we requested and received a table for 2, but the tables are so close
together that it felt more like a table for 6. We ate all of our breakfast and lunches in the Islands Cafe, which also had excellent food. I'll have to say that once
you see one island, they all look alike. How many t-shirts does a person need. Besides, the ship is so beautiful, why get off at all. We did encounter some rough
seas, but they are very good about giving out seasickness pills if you need any(which I did). Debarkation was a breeze. Cruises always end too soon. Next time
we might go for a 10 day cruise. In my opinion, when you go on a cruise, you really feel like you have been on vacation. It's almost like you drop off the face of
the earth for a week. No phones, traffic, cooking, cleaning, newspapers, television, no worries. Celebrity certainly exceeded our expectations!!!
