My wife and I are just back from our April 18th cruise on the Galaxy. It was excellent, however, I have one big negative to report, but I'll save that for the
end. First, the positives. The Galaxy is a beautiful ship, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Our cabin, category seven was midships and very quite, and
by cruise ship standards, large and well laid-out. Plenty of storage space, good shower facilities, and nice looking. The in-room safe was a welcome
amenity and worked well. Our cabin steward, Joel, was mostly invisible, but he did a great job. I have absolutely no complaints about the food. It was
excellent. Even the Lobster was fine...large and cooked correctly. The variety was fine, and the table service impeccable. Our waiter, Micklos, from
Hungary I think, was truly professional. The busboy was Okay, but did not speak much English so it was hard to communicate. We only ate dinners in the
Dining room because the breakfast and lunch buffets were so good. I live in Las Vegas, so I'm not overly impressed by buffets, but the buffets on the
Galaxy were very good. Nice variety, good quality and the Oasis cafe was very pleasant. Since there were four serving stations, the wait was never very
long and it seemed to be always open. And there was always open serving stations throughout the day with hot dogs, hamburgers and pizza. The
midnight buffets were good too...especially the tropical fruit buffet. It was beautifully presented on the top deck. Music, floating decorations, pork ribs that
were delicious. Really a nice experience. The other late night buffets were also very good. They included oriental (with sushi bar), Italian, grand buffet, etc.
All well done and fun. As for the entertainment, it was okay. I live in Las Vegas, so I expect a lot. One saving grace is the excellent high tech theater. The
lighting effects and sound were really up to top production standards, unfortunately the talent was just so-so. However, they did have a singing
impressionist named Paul Boland who was very entertaining and put on a very good show.

Now, for a big negative. The ship has a bad vibration problem in the aft section, especially when at full steam. The second night, we sat at our assigned
dining room table and the vibration made my wife sick. Apparently we were sitting over the propellers. We had to move to a much less desirable table at
the front of the dining room. Many people complained about the vibration and had to move tables. Also, we spoke to people who had cabins near the
back, and they complained of the vibration. I must say, our cabin, which was midships, was perfectly quiet and stable. The vibration is a problem that
Celebrity must address. Aside from that, the Galaxy was first class in every way and I would not hesitate recommending it.
