I was with a group of 9. We were interested in the eclipse of the sun. The GALAXY was by
far the nicest ship that I have ever been on, also the
cleanest. I was really impressed with the physical facilities of the ship.
The food was the best, and the best served of any cruise that I have been on.
It was nice that we were given glasses with which to view the eclipse. I thought the deck
would be too crowded for eclipse watching, but there
seemed to be plenty of space.
We sailed on the HORIZON on the same cruise last year. I think that the size of the GALAXY
caused the tours to be sold out sooner. On the HORIZON
there seemed to be little trouble, but on the GALAXY, we were not able to get the shore
excursions we wanted. The one we did buy was called off.
Our cabin steward, LUCY, was the best.
The embarcation and debarkation were vert slick as was the air sea program on TWA from St.
Louis.
I would recommend the cruise to anyone.
