This was our first 7-night cruise, and our first time on Celebrity. We had planned for this trip for almost a year and had made the decision to sail Celebrity
strictly on our own hunch. No one we knew had been on a Celebrity ship in the past. Our first impressions of the cruise line were good, as embarkation
took place with no confusion. Our cabin was spacious and quiet and we were pampered by our stewardess. It seemed that she anticipated our every need
without being asked. The attitude and service throughout the ship was one of making us know that they were happy to have us aboard, without ever being
intrusive. The dinner meals were the highlight of our days, with beautifully prepared, delicious food and wonderful tablemates. Our waiter and busboy
remembered our likes, and even had special drinks on the table before we asked. The shows in the showroom lounge were very good - a couple of them
outstanding. The Horizon is spotlessly clean - crew were always washing, polishing, vacuuming the public areas throughout the ship. If I had to mention a
negative here (and it's very hard to find one) I guess it would be that everywhere is at a distance from King's Wharf, so that a bus or ferry must be taken.
That is a minor complaint, as Bermuda on the whole is so beautiful and clean that we enjoyed just being there.
