A wonderful cruise on a beautiful ship. The food service (especially in the dining room)was undoubtedly the highlight of the cruise. Both the menu and the service was as good as I have ever had in some of the finest establishments in either this country or Europe. The Lido deck buffets and the room service menus were comprehensive and the quality was excellent.

The public areas are beautiful and do not seem crowded even with the ship full to capacity as it was on this cruise. The shops were very up-scale but that should probably be expected on a line such as this.

The entertainment in the main showroom was not what I would have picked but many of the other passengers seemed pleased with it.

Cabin and deck service were the only two items which were inconsistant and disappointing. There were problems with cabin breakfast service almost every morning and room service could not remember to deliver fresh ice to our cabin daily at 5:00 PM as we had requested. We never had a deck waiter offer iced tea or water while we were in the pool area.

Overall impression was that we enjoyed the cruise but felt that there were too many problems with services for a supposedly 6-star cruise line. We probably will not cruise Crystal again.
