We took this cruise as regular paying customers and from the moment we were escorted
aboard by white gloved staff, I knew this was going to be a cruise that was above average.
Sibylle, our cabin hostess, gave us a complete cabin tour so there was no doubt in our
minds as to where things were and how they worked. The attention to small details on this
cruise was above average which certainly shows how much appreciation Crystal has for its
passengers. Going through the canal was quite an extraordinary experience and our
excursion to the San Blas Islands is one of the most interesting we had on the entire
cruise. Crystal is a cruise line that I would book again and again. We had one of the
forward cabins with a larger than average verandah for which I can thank our travel agent
and my only complaint about our cabin was there was little room between the double closet
and the bed so only one person could get into the area at one time. If you cruise on this
ship be sure to do four things. Dine in the Jade Garden and Prego Restaurants, take the
tour of the ship's galley and be sure and visit the bridge. We chose late dining at a
large table and were hosted by the Chief Engineer Ragnar Larsen. This was a delightful
surprise for all eight of us at our table. The personnel aboard the ship were all
exceptional and I recommend Crystal to all who want a pleasurable and relaxing cruise.
