So where do I start? For my second cruise, I found it quite enjoyable. My friend and I
decided to choose The Seabreeze on a reccommendation from her
parents. I'm glad that we did. At first I was reluctant on how the trip would go based on
the size of the vessel. However, shortly after launching, I realized
that regardless of the size, we were in for a quality vacation. Of course there are going
to be good points and bad points and frankly I was surprised at a
few of the negative comments that I encountered while reading the rest of the reviews on
this site. Primarily because I had none of the problems that were
mentioned by past cruise-goers. The food was quite good. Hats off to the chef and food
staff especially since I am a very picky eater and almost every
time, there was a choice that I loved. My mom can't even offer me that! This brings me to
the waitstaff. Another superb show. We had Maxwell and Conrad
as our waiter and busboy respectfully. Max was a wealth of entertainment and curtersy. And
Conrad would go out of his way to bring us our neverending
refills of water. Please know that these are valuable workers and that they kept all of
their tables happy. Along the same lines, the buffets were enjoyable
as well. Except for a few pushy people which are to be expected. The shows were also
enjoyable. On our trip we had three comidians and two nights of
singing and dancing. Good variety. I believe that we also got good advice and prepping for
the land excursions from the staff. We had seminars on
shopping, tours and how to get the best deals. I'm glad that I attended these since they
proved to be very useful. Nightlife was also a high point to my trip
starting with the casino. I enjoyed the atmosphere in there and was glad to find it to be
a smaller and relaxed setup. From there we always enjoyed
ourselves in the lounge where a duo sang each night. They were very enjoyable to watch and
were quite talented. We also frequented the disco and can
say that we spent most of the late night into the morning there. The DJ was great even
when the place wasnt so hopping. I believe that was due to the fact
that not everyone could find the place. but he worked his tail off to get people on the
floor every night. When there were people there (more as the days
went on ) everyone seemed to be having a great time. The variety of music was rocking for
the most part. It bothered me when I read one of the other
reviews that totally ripped apart the disco because I believed that the people who didnt
have a good time there probably wouldnt have a good time
anywhere. Well that brings me to the end of what I would like to comment on. I feel that
the Seabreeze gave its passengers a great trip and would
reccommend it to any of my friends no matter what age they are. Just remember, its all
what YOU make it as well as the crew.
