Of all the cruises I have taken, this one rates very close to the top. I can really find nothing to be critical of, except,
perhaps, the stop at Santo Tomas, Guatemala. That port of call offered nothing but long tours to Mayan ruins. The food
was superb, in quality and presentation. Ditto for the service aboard. Every individual was ready to serve or help, always
with a friendly smile. The ship was beautiful; an older vessel without the chrome and glass 'glitz' of the new megaships -
and it was immaculate. There was always someone vacuuming, painting, etc. I went for coffee at 6:00 AM, and there were
seamen painting! It is a vessel for older passengers, but there were many younger people on board, and all seemed to
enjoy the cruise. In summary, a great ship and a wonderful cruise!
