Our recent cruise on the Ryndam was again a fantastic experience. This was our second HAL, and there were no
surprises. Our embarkation went smoothly. This was our 9th cruise, and the first time we had our stateroom upgraded.
We were pleasantly surprised, our stateroom had an obstructed view, and was on the promenade deck, which was better
than what we had booked. Our itinerary was fine, as we had already on previous cruises been to all our portsppine staff
were very polite and helpful. Some of them had little difficult time speaking english, but would try to help out. We did not
make it to any of the night time entertainment, as being our 9th cruise, they seem to be the same, and we did other
activities at night, which was great. The food on the ship, being in the Dining Room or Lido, was always very good. We did
make a comment to HAL, re: having a standard alternate menu nightly in the dinning room for picker eaters, ie: a
chicken or plain pasta dish. Our waiter, wine steward and busboy, were all very good. I was sick on our trip and made a
visit to the Doc, and we were very impressed with the doctor on the ship, and also the up to date facilities on board. We
will travel with HAL again, and would recommend them to a friend.
