I had a wonderful time on my cruise and I would recommend this
cruise to anyone. I travelled with ten other family members from
ages 6 to 63, and we all
enjoyed ourselves. First Embarkation/Disembarkation was a breeze.
Secondly, the food was great. We took most meals, with the
exception of dinner on
the Lido Deck or in the Lido Restaurant and I enjoyed them all.
The one lunch we ate in the dining room was served just as all
the dinners, superbly.
There was a great variety of foods and desserts to choose from.
And speaking of desserts, the cheese cake is to die for. It was
hard to find room for the
midnight buffets, but I managed.
The Cabin Stewards and quite honestly the entire crew were great.
I could of taken my Room Steward home to help me clean. He was
fantastic. I found
the cabin comfortable, but would definitely go for a room with a
view the next time. The Tender Service was great, as my father is
handicapped, and we
had no problem getting him ashore. The ports of call were ok, I
could of skipped Cozumel and Jamaica, and wish we had more time
for the Private Island.
The shore excursions were not a good value for the prices. In
Jamaica, Dunn River Falls with the all you can drink rum punch is
a waste of $34.00.
Anyone interested in this tour is better off going to the Falls
by cab and paying the $6.00 to enter the falls. By the way, bring
your water shoes for the
Falls, I wouldn't recommend those that they offer for rental.
As far as complaints, just a few minor one. First, parents should
pay a better attention to their children. The children on this
cruise constantly played in
the elevator, pushing all buttons and racing them down with kids
in the other elevators across from them. Also, they ran up and
down the stairs, knocking
into everyone.
And finally, some entertainment is need for the over 21 but not
ready to go to bed after 10:30. It's kind of boring after that
time.
