My wife and I were VERY satified with the delivered value of this cruise. Our Navigation Deck cabin was spacious and well appointed. Best of all, however,
was virtually NO LINES for anything despite a SOLD-OUT ship !! The ship was very well run as evidenced by flawless execution of TENDER SERVICES,
Embarkation/debarkation, and cleanliness. The only shortcoming to service that I encountered was the phantom nature of our cabin attendant. When we
could find him, all requests were expeditiously carried out BUT sometimes he was very difficult to find. His routine duities ( cabin care, turn-down, etc.)
were very well done. I encountered no communications difficulties with the Indonesian or Phillipine staff. They were competent, cheerful, and well schooled
in the small stuff ( like remembering names and preferences ). Although the itinerary was good, I could do without Jamaica (Ocho Rios)...too much begging
and accosting by vendors, street people, etc. for my liking. Overall the PAX count ( about 1400 ) was better suited to our tastes than previous ships (
2500+ ). We felt that there were ALWAYS available facilities ( deckchairs, lounge seating, etc ). HAL has won another pair of customers !!
