Boston/Bermuda cruise is wonderful!! We've sailed the Norwegian Majesty 4 times. For us, living 60min outside of boston is great. Getting to and thru the Black Falcon Pier has always been easy. When you board, the music is playing, the bar is open, the buffet is open; and you're on vacation right then!!! The ship is new, large, clean with a lot of space if you want to be away from the hustle & bustle by the pool. The only drawback, is that the space by the pool is small, and gets quite crowded when the weather is sunny Bermuda is a superb destination. The ship is docked Tues-Fri, and there is no need to rush back to the ship. We like the late seating in the dining room, to give us more time outside. The food served in the dining room and the wait staff are excellent! If you have a special request your waiter will try his best to accomodate you!!!! The bar staff and wine steward are also excellent. Service is always pleasant and quick. The casino is large, with a large selection of slots, table games and is open the whole time at sea, and closed in port; same with the shops. Our outside staterooms have been fairly large with a fridge, tv, radio, phone, hairdryer, bathrobes; extra blankets & pillows.

Superb value. Best of short cruises by far. Ship is modern but without the "skyscraper on its side" look or feel. Nice
deck space and plenty of places to meet and gather. Only passenger flow problem was late mornings on top deck
buffet- late risers and early "sunners" made for a somewhat crowded situation but nothing terrible. Norwegian Isle
excursion at Nassau was good for us as we wanted a beach area. If schedules stay the same, be certain to take
the first excursion and you'll have the island to yourself. Several ships are likely to be in port at the same time and
when the Big Red Boat transfers its passengers, it gets crowded in a hurry. This is a perfect introduction into
cruising for those unsure if they'll like it.

I went with a friend and we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the decor. We were expecting a
"hole in the wall" but it actually had a large closet, desk and chair, comfortable beds, large dresser between the
beds and a tv and stand. There is also a safe, ironing board, and the bathroom is decent. We had an inside room on
the bottom deck but we were very satisfied. The food was very good, especially the breakfast buffet that we enjoyed
at poolside. We went on a 3-day cruise and we didn't have that much time to explore the ship. The Frame 52 disco
was fun and the staff was very polite and entertaining not overwhelming. Loved it so much that my fiance and I are
trying it for our honeymoon to Bermuda this September.

Majesty is a great cruise line for people who don't want all the rah-rah-ing of Carnival but still want a reasonably priced cruise. Especially considering the price, it's quite classy. The food was bountiful (no shock there) and very good but not magnificent. The individually-assigned staff (stewards, dining room) are wonderful! Some of the other staff -- excursion organizers, etc., are a little less so. We had some bad weather, so we missed Key West entirely, but the Cozumel stop was very well-run. Lots of different tours, etc. Possibly the most phenomenal aspect of the entire cruise was the wholly pain-free disembarkation. No time flat, no waiting. I have no idea how they did it, but it was fantastic to still be relaxed even after getting to the airport! I would happily sail Majesty again -- truly a class outfit.

The overall rating was in the excellent range for Norwegian Majesty. This was our first cruise and we found the ship to be
very clean and the staff to be excellent. Our state room was outside with two large windows on deck 4 we found the
room size OK for two people but no more than that would be comfortable in the small room. The food was good and
service in the dining room was excellent. We found the 10th deck where the pool is located to be small and becomes
easily crowded and too close to buffet area when the food is being served. Also too windy on the 10th deck especially
when you tried to eat at the tables.

The shore excursions in Mexico were to time consuming in travel time and too short at destination. Also the bus drivers
in Mexico were dangerous. Would recommend ship activities but little value in shore excursions.

If we take another cruise we would consider Norwegian Majesty as the ship is an excellent value and you could spend your
entire trip on the boat with the food, fun, and activities they have to offer the passengers.

This was our first cruise and it was in celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary. Overall, we were very pleased
with the exeptional service and felt very pampered. The excursion to Tumul Mayan ruins was very interesting because
we have an interest in history. The box lunch for the day could definitely be improved! The snorkeling was good with
pretty colored fish. The Cozumel shopping was crowded, but that's to be expected. Having to go all the way to the
end of the shopping strip to enter your stamped paper for a drawing for a prize was a come on to make sure the
whole shopping strip is covered. We can do without that! We have been to Key West before, but enjoyed the Conch
Train Ride, although the streets were very busy with traffic. Typical tourist town! We did not go back to any of the
recommended places to visit because we had been there before.

Because this was a special occasion for us, we bit
the bullet and engaged one of the delux cabins. It had a queen sized bed, sofa, love seat, coffee table, TV stand,
refrigerator, nice size closet, bed side table, desk, nice sized bathroom, large ceiling to floor window with another
picture window. We never felt crowded. The cabin steward, waiter, busboy, wine steward, cruise director were
excellent! Because I'm a professional clown and one of the shows had a circus theme, I was asked by one of the
dancers to make up his face for the show......made it very special to me! Because it was our 40th anniversary, we
were invited to a special VIP Captain's cocktail party. That made us feel special too. Many anniversaries being
celebrated (lots of 50 ones).

The midnight buffets were a site to behold. I never knew food could look so pretty!
However, it's disappointing that so much food is wasted. The only negative we have is the disembarkation back in
Miami took too long. We had first sitting for breakfast, so it was a very early morning for us, and then it was just wait,
wait, wait. The color coding of the luggage made it very easy to locate our luggaggage. We wouldn't hesitate to sail on
the Norwegian Majesty again. However, we're curious as to any changes that might be forthcoming since Norwegian
Cruise Lines has bought the Norwegian Majesty.

I travelled with my family, wife and 2 children ages 5 & 7, along with my parents who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. We had a
fantastic time, everything went extremely well. The crew provided exceptional service throughout our trip. The food was excellent and the variety
was very good. The children were offered special meals, ie chicken, pasta etc. which was great for them.

The midnight buffets were also excellently presented and the variety was very good(if could eat anymore). The ship was also very clean and well
kept. Bermuda was just wonderful, the weather was perfect. This was our second time there so we did not do any of the excursions, instead we
went off on our own. We spent one day at Tobacco Bay, a lagoon type beach within walking distance to ship. It was great for the kids, you could
rent tubes, snorkel, and feed the fish ! The water was as calm as a pool.

For those with children, the kids program was great, our kids loved it. The councelors were great and the activities kept them very busy. At night
they had movies for the kids to watch. The only negative was the space on the deck & pool. The pool area is quite small and when the buffet for
lunch is going it could get crowded. In all we had a great vacation and we would recommend Majesty and will travel it again.

This was our second cruise, the first being on RCCL's Monarch of the Seas. Part of the attraction was not having to fly to the port, plus we love Bermuda.

Embarkation, always a drag, seemed pretty efficient. We had a Class "C" cabin on deck 4 forward. In port at St. George's any unobstructed view will be a
nice one. The cabin steward was almost always available and gave great service. In ten foot seas we had considerable rolling and pounding of the bow,
mostly on one night on the return trip. There was some noise from the hallway, but little from adjoining cabins, except for the toilet flushes. The room had a
double bed, which seemed to be adequate for us. We enjoyed the large window as opposed to the small portal which we had on the Monarch.

The ship drew mostly New England cruisers, of all shapes, colors and sizes. There were many families and young singles. Young groups would at times be
found hanging around in stairwells.

Though we requested main seating, apparently our Feb booking was too late to accomodate this and we did not like late seating as by the midnite buffet
we could not bring ourselves to even look at food. The food in the dining room and on the top deck were excellent. Dining room service was attentive,
though occasionally held up by the kitchen.

The pool was small, especially compared to the Monarch (the Monarch's tonnage is 1/3 heavier), and at times the area was crowded and lounge chairs
scarce when at sea. Towels were at times unavailable and there seemed to be no good system for the staff to retrieve them.

At times the organization of activities seemed poor. In the worst case, one of the 13 bingo games ran late, tying up the showroom when the one-show
only talent show was scheduled. This resulted in a mob scene which we avoided rather than see the show. As this show accomodated both seatings, the
bingo should have been scheduled early, or at least moved along at a faster pace, perhaps with the omission of the "witty" comments of the caller.

We went on the snorkeling cruise as our only excursion and were well satisfied with it. Safety, instruction and site were excellent.

Putting aside the limitations of its size, the ship is elegant and Bermuda is wonderful...the favorite of many. We are undecided as to whether we would
take this cruise again, but are not unhappy that we went.

We were a Belgian party of 4 in our 30’s (me and my wife, my cousin and her female colleague). It was our first cruise and for the 2 ladies it was the first
time in the US. We booked the cruise thru a travel agent in Clearwater, FL which I found on the WEB. The booking procedure was very smooth. January
booking for April sailing and we soon got the news that we had gotten upgrades for both I/S cabins. As we would be touring thru FL prior to the cruise we
arranged to pick up the cruise documents ourselves in Clearwater. This also gave us the opportunity to meet the friendly people of the travel agency.
Upon arrival in the port of Miami we didn’t know what terminal to go to. It wasn’t mentioned anywhere and there wer so many cruise ships that we drove
around for 20 minutes before we got to the appropriate terminal and parking lot (8 $ a day). We left our luggage, tipped the porter and went to the check
in. We stood inline for about 45 minutes and when it finally was our turn we appeared to be last ones in the line. If we had known we could have spent
some more time in Miami. At about 2.30 pm we got to our cabin on deck 3 in the middle which we found very clean, well equipped and as the ship was only
4 years old everything was functioning well (except for the safety deposit box but housekeeping fixed the battery the same afternoon). We stood in line at
the excursions desk to sign up for some on the Bahama’s and Key West but finally decided to arrange them ourselves (on the basis of the info from
previous cruise reviews). the prices were quite high (35 -50 $) and it took your whole day even if you were only interested in part of the tour. We went up
to deck 10 to take a look at the welcome buffet but ended up with a full plate of great food and desserts. we spent the rest of the afternoon near the pool
and the spa’s on deck 10. there was a band playing Carribean music and people got in the mood very quickly. Coffee, tea and softdrinks as much as you
wanted. As we were in the second sitting for dinner (8.30 pm) we had plenty of time to get acquainted with the ship. Being European the casino was not
our place of interest so we only past thru it from time to time.Contrary to the info we had gotten from the travel agent we didn’t have a table for 4 but
shared it with 4+2 others. I didn’t mind that, except for the fact that the other party of 4 was confronted with the same problem and as the guy was a
travel agent himself he got really angry with the maitre D. The atmosphere at the table that night was tense. This was compensated by the fact that the
wine steward brought us a bottle of wine offered by our travel agent as a thank you gift for booking with them. The 2nd day the 4+2 others had gotten
their table for 4 and we shared our table with some other people who were very nice and friendly. On the last evening we even had birthday cake and
champagne because the guy’s mum who had joined her son and daughter in law turned 80 that day. The food was good and delicious. A variety
something for everyone’s taste, good waiter and busboy. After dinner we went to see the show (magician) which was good but we left early because we
had bad seats . We spent the rest of the night in the disco which was not too crowded. We didn’t think of going to the midnight buffet but weren’t hungry
anyhow.

Day 2, we got up and we were already in the port of Nassau; there were nine cruise ships and we were very impressed. We had breakfast near the pool
at the buffet - great food. We didn’t leave the ship untill 10 am because we were not in a hurry. We took a ferry from the pier to Paradise Island (2 $). We
went straight to the Atlantis resort hotel which has a huge casino, a wonderful private beach and garden but most impressing of all was the seaquarium
which has sharks, stingrays, and lot of other fish. It is huge, you can look at it from the garden, in a walking cove, from an underwater glass tunnel. You
have to see it and it is for free. We spent there about two hours and then took a cab to the Nassau’s main street. We found the shoppinh not as goos as
in Miami or elsewhere in FL. Prices are higher, it’s not as clean, I got offered drugs twice (to buy of course). So if you are not a little into shopping, just
stay on board or go to Paradise Island. We were back on board around 3 pm and went to the pool, the tea time buffet, the 6 pm pizza’s etc. Dinner at
eight thirty and we spent the rest of the evening in the karaoke bar and a live band theater. We ended at the tropical midnight buffet which was gorgeous
and not to be missed.

Day 3 we didn’t get to Key West until noon or so. We spent the morning near the pool, in the main palace for some briefing on Key West and in another
palace for custom’s formalities. On Key West we did a tour on the conch train (16 $) which was great and really worthwhile. After that we spent some time
walking around and returned on board by 4 pm (tea time, pizza, a cocktail, etc.) The ship left half hour later because someone on the ship had to be
taken by ambulance to a hospital nearby. We never knew what had really happened. The dinner was great again with baked alaska. We went to sleep
early and the next morning disembarkation went smoothly and by 9.30 am we were on the pier in our rental car.

On our eveluation form we marked perfect except for: - maitre d’ did’t control the situation as he should have; we did’t tip him - elevators were always full
and slow

A comment for non US citizens: - the travel agent had a fight with the cruise line over the insurance we had paid. When we picked up our tickets she said
that the cruise line’s insurance didnot cover non US citizens (contrary to what had been told at reservations). The bad news was that we were not insured
medically (we had a full coverage of ourselves so that did’nt bother us). The good news was that we got our premium refunded. - when booking via the
internet or WEB or just via fax directly to US travel agent you may get rates that are 20 or 25 % lower than in European travel agencies. At least we did.

We had seen the Royal Majesty in both Miami and Nassau during our first cruise which was on Royal
Caribbean's Nordic Empress. We thought it was a very sleek looking vessel. So when we made plans for our
second cruise, the Royal Majesty came to mind, and we ultimately booked it. We have since taken a third on
the Celebrity Century.

Prior to departure we received an offer too good to refuse. We were offered a second cabin for an additional
$100. Since we were a party of four, we jumped at the chance. We had our children, ages 10 and 7 going with
us. Our second cabin was only about five doors down the hall. They were both partially obstructed view
outside cabins on the Queen's Deck (Deck 8). Later we found others on our cruise who were given the same
offer. It seems that on our sailing the line had reached the lifeboat limit with quad bookings, but had open
cabins available.

Embarkation onto the Royal Majesty was horrible. We arrived at the pier early, only to find no one boarding.
Everyone was just lined up outside in the hot Florida sun. We decided to have lunch at the Miami Hard Rock
Cafe and start our T-shirt collection instead of waiting in line. Upon returning, we were able to get inside the
terminal building. What we found was a line winding up and down roped isles. It was at least a 2-hour wait.
Fortunately, that was our only bad experience with the ship.

After boarding we were escorted to our cabins. The first impression on the ship is a feeling of warmth. There
is a lot of wood used inside the ship. This is a contrast to the chrome and glass on the Nordic Empress. Both
were beautiful ships, just different. Upon arriving at our cabins we found that one cabin was a bit larger than
the other. Actually the smaller cabin was about the size of our cabin on the Nordic Empress, so with two
cabins, and one even larger than we were used to, we were overjoyed. We could really spread out.

We immediately changed into some summer clothes. We had departed from New Jersey in March, so we
arrived in heavy clothes and coats. After changing we went exploring the vessel. We didn't go to the lunch
buffet, having been to the Hard Rock Cafe. After our lifeboat drill, we departed Miami. Shortly after that it was
time for dinner.

Dinner aboard the Royal Majesty was fantastic. The main dining room, the Epicurean, is a bit cramped. But
there was no smoking allowed, quite a relief after a bad experience on the Nordic Empress. We were at a
table for four. The food was exceptional, significantly better than we had on the Nordic Empress. I was later
told by someone on the Celebrity Century that Royal Majesty used the same catering service as Celebrity. If
that is true, then that could explain Royal Majesty's great food, because Celebrity is famous for its food.
Service in the restaurant was excellent. We made friends with our busboy Erdal. He and our 7-year-old
daughter, with some help from mom, have since written to each other several times.

Our first full day on the ship was a leisurely day at sea. We sailed quite close to Cuba. We were able to see
the tallest buildings of Havana. Breakfast was very good. One complaint, based on our later experience on the
Century, was that no crew member on the Royal Majesty bothered helping our children with their trays after
the buffet line. They had to carry them by themselves, or my wife and I had to carry two trays, at times even
up and down stairs. On the Century there was a crew member immediately helping them with their trays as
soon as they got near the end of the buffet line. But the food on the Royal Majesty was excellent with lunch
and dinner continuing with the pattern.

The second full day of the cruise was at Cozumel. It is a snorkeling paradise. We went off on our own to
Chankanaab National Park. The taxi ride was very reasonable. We had our own snorkeling equipment and
thoroughly enjoyed the day. There were thousands of beautiful fish within 5-10 feet of shore. After returning
to town we stopped at the Cozumel Hard Rock Cafe for drinks and T-shirts, and eventually decided to have
lunch there. We never made it to the more famous Carlos' ‘n' Charlie's. Oh well, we'll save that for another
time.

Our third day was at Key West. We decided to go snorkeling again. We hailed a pink taxi and asked the driver
for a recommendation. He suggested Smathers Beach. The water was dirty and there were no fish. It was
very disappointing. We called for a cab, and the same driver picked us up again in his pink cab. We decided to
have lunch at the Key West Hard Rock Cafe to complete our T-shirt collection. We were able to get Hard Rock
shirts at each port on the cruise.

Overall service on the ship was quite good, except for the lack of help with the buffet service as previously
noted. Our cabin attendant kept our two cabins in excellent condition. His timing was very good. Everything
seemed to get done quickly, just as soon as we left the cabin to go for meals.

One of our treasures from the cruise is a crystal and brass letter opener which we received as a gift for
winning one of the daily trivia contests. We also won a Royal Majesty umbrella in another contest. And after
attending a napkin folding demonstration, we've since been the hit at weddings showing off this little talent.

We had a very enjoyable cruise on the Royal Majesty. Since our cruise, the ship has been purchased by
Norwegian Cruise Line. We hope that NCL continues the fine service and excellent food we experienced when
it sailed for Majesty Cruise Line. If so, we would definitely consider it again for a short 3 or 4-day vacation.

This was our first cruise to celebrate our 10 year anniversaries. We cruised with my sister-n-law and brother-n-law.
Service was terrible with the exception of the Bar and Casino Staff- They were great. The Salon Services were great
and the Bus boy and Waiter did a great job. The food was not as readily available nor as tasty as I had imagined it to
be. For goodness sake don't ask for a simple soda or a pot of coffee on this cruise....bring your own! The coffee
delivered to our cabin in the mornings was cold! I sent it back.....it came back again...cold! The cabin stewardess was
throwing up in my sister-n-laws cabin! They had no irons on board...just ironing boards in the room! Whenever I asked
for a soda at the bars on the cruise, the bartenders at poolside and in the showrooms were very rude.almost as if
there was a shortage of it or something or they were too busy to give me one. The breakfast buffet and the breakfasts
in the dining room were very good. The dinners were not as great as I expected them to be, small portions and not
very much of a variety. The entertainment was not readily available especially after dinner when we were actually
ready to have fun and do something, all the entertainment rooms did not seem to do anything until after 10:00 at
night and by then we were tired of looking for something to do so we just went to our cabins for the rest of the night.
The cabin stewardess always seemed to be cleaning our rooms whenever we went back to them and she always forgot
to leave the next days itinerary under our doors. Our cabin thank god was very spacious and we did not feel crammed
or anything. The movies on board were always the same every day, they just switched them around at different times,
we saw the same movie over and over because there was nothing else to do after dinner. The shops carried few items,
there were three small shops on board with little interesting merchandise to buy. The port information given to us was
below standard and not at all what they said it was going to be like. The excursions were way over priced, we had a
much better time in Cozumel just renting our own motor scooters and traveling around the island ourselves stopping
here and there to visit shops or go snorkeling. We would have wasted money on an overpriced excursion just to do the
same thing. The ship itself sailed smoothly but the onboard computer went down and caused us to sail into Key West
an hour off schedule which made it hard for those of us who had first seating at dinner and wanted to see the island
also. Nevertheless we had a great time by ourselves just walking around Key West, but we missed our
dinner...supposedly the best one of the entire cruise, they were serving lobster that night. But I heard it was a very
small lobster from other fellow cruisers so maybe we did not miss much anyway. We ate at the Hogsbreath Saloon and
had a wonderful late lunch instead. All in all I am not sure whether we will take a cruise again if this is any indication of
how a cruise should be like. Thank goodness we were not the only passengers to complain. Thank you....Lisa Smyth

This was my second cruise, having previously sailed on NCL's Windward. My wife has also sailed on Holland's Veendam with
her sister (at least, that's what she tells me). We took this cruise just before NCL took over the ship...it was still being
operated by Majesty Cruise Lines at the time. I expect that some things have changed now.

I found the ship to be exceptionally beuatiful in an understated, nautical way. Lots of beautiful wood throughout, especially
in the shop promemade, the lido dining area, and the observation lounge. The observation lounge is gorgeous, and a
wonderful place to spend time. It's very quiet throughout the day, at at night they had a fantastic harp player. He was
impressive to listen to, but soft enough for quiet conversation. The other entertainment bars were good, too, including a
disco, a dance club with a pretty good combo, and the show lounge with average-to-better shows.

We had a mini-suite on the top deck. It was large and very nice, with a bay window. Take care in booking those rooms,
though, because some of them have partially obstructed views due to lifeboats (though ours was fine). I don't believe the
brochure pointed that out. One great thing about our room location was its proximity to the observation lounge. I could mix
myself a drink in the room and go to the lounge to drink and relax. None of the waiters there hassled me about it.

The main dining room was crowded, noisy, and not especially beautiful compared with the rest of the ship. The food was
good, as was the service except for the constant requests for good ratings. The lido dining was very good, with good
selection in a nice room that also opens onto the pool deck. At the back of the pool deck is a nice open-air grill serving
hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, etc. An annoyance is that they offered no free beverages there (just beer and soft drinks).
You had to go back up to the lido dining room to get a tiny glass of tea or lemonade...it seemed like a tacky way to try to
get in your pocket. My guess is that NCL has fixed that. The midnight buffets were great and beautifully presented.

The itenerary isn't great, but it's what you get on a four-day cruise. Couzemel has some good food and great shopping, not
much more. Key West was much more interesting than I expected. The day at sea always nice, sitting by the pool as we
sailed along the coast of Cuba.

Overall, a great value on a beautiful ship.

We had previously sailed on the Majesty in November of 1994. The cruises were identical in destinations...Nassau and Key
West, but not in quality. Contrary to many reviews that we had seen before going on the cruise, we were pleasantly
surprised to have enjoyed this cruise more than the one in '94.

I'll be upfront and admit that two items in particular may have influenced our opinions. During the November 94 cruise the
ship encountered a tropical storm upon leaving Key West going back to Miami and the ship did not handle the rough seas
well at all. Also on this latest cruise we were in a suite. The cabin we had on the first cruise was nice with a big picture
window, but it could not compare with the suite.

We chose a suite this cruise because for the first time we were cruising with our two boys ages thirteen and seven.

Our cruise began with a drive down from West Palm Beach where we had spent Christmas night with friends. We arrived at
the port parking lot shortly after 1pm. Boarding was accomplished in under fifteen minutes as we are Lattitude members
and were able to use the separate line which had no one ahead of us when we arrived. This was very fast, considering that
we did not have tickets, only a fax confirmation from our travel agent.

After boarding the ship we were escorted to the cabin by a steward. I always appreciate this as a ship can be confusing
when you first board.

The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable; with a queen sized bed, coffee table, couch, a window next to the bed and a
bay window with two chairs. The bathroom had a tub. Our cabin steward did a wonderful job. We only saw him occasionally
in the hallways.

The only drawback to this cabin (912) was that it was directly under the pool area and when people would move the chairs
on the deck above you could hear the noise. This was especially evident early in the morning when the crew was cleaning
the area.

Many of the suites have obstructed views but this cabin's windwos were completely clear.

The food in the dining room was consistently good. As good as any that we have had on previous cruises. Entrees included
prime rib, beef wellington, lobster, etc. New York strip was available every night. An outstanding appetizer was the duck pate
with waldorf salad. My wife especially enjoyed a slice of carrot cake one afternoon.

One ironic situation was that our waiter was probably the best we have ever had on any cruise (and that is quite a
compliment) but the busboy was the worst ever, without a doubt. The waiter, Hector from Honduras table 64, never failed to
have a smile. We were comfortable with him immediately and he treated our children with dignity and respect. They we
quite impressed with him.

The busboy on the other hand was missing in action. If you know where he is let me know, I could use some more water.
We actually ended up one evening drinking from the boy's sodas. We quickly learned that we had to get his attention early
and intensely. By the third or fourth meal he improved somewhat. However this shouldn't have been necessary. He
appeared to have been assigned to one too many tables.

Our children were very happy with the children's groups and activities. Especially the thirteen year old, who we allowed to
stay out later each night with his group. On the last night of the cruise their activities lasted until after midnight. The seven
year old began to prefer to eat his meals with his age group in their clubhouse. They both enjoyed the cruise much more
than we expected they would.

Having been to Nassau a few times before, we decided this trip to try the beach at the Atlantis resort. We took a water taxi
(which deserves a separate review!) over to Paradise Island and walked the two blocks up to Atlantis. Be sure and bring
towels and lotion, as they have a beautiful beach, open to the public. They have an outdoor restaurant and a bar. If you
want some isolation, you can walk about two hundred yards up the beach and have some privacy. They also have parachute
rides and banana boat rides. Atlantis has quite an impressive aquarium which is also free. The pool looks great also, check
with a lifeguard for admission. It looked like half of the ship went to this beach. Our boys loved it. One said...Oh I see now
why they call this Paradise Island. I think they liked it because it was a mite overdeveloped. It reminded them of
Disneyworld.

We thought that the entertainment was improved on this cruise. The clout of NCL showed. The shows were much more
professional than when the ship was with Majesty Cruise Line. However the performers are hampered by the one level
showroom. If Las Vegas style revues are what you are interested in, this is not the ship for you.

This ship does not handle rough seas well at all. As stated previously we were in a tropical storm in November of '94 on this
ship and this time sailing from Nassau to Key West during a mild storm the ship rocked and rolled quite a bit. Not anything
near the level of the tropical storm, but still quite a bit. I have read where this ship does not have the usual modern cruise
ship stabilization.

Apparently since we were in a suite, every evening around 6pm (we had late seating) a steward would deliver a tray of
appetizers to the cabin. Also a complementary bottle of champagne was in the cabin upon arrival. When it come time for
disembarkation, we were advised to report to a particular lounge. After the ship was cleared by customs, we were among
the first allowed off. I'm beginning to appreciate spending the extra money for the suite.

Try ordering the brownies and cookies one afternoon from room service. The white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies
were terrific.

We enjoyed this cruise quite a bit and would not hesitate to return.
