We left Miami on January 19th 1998, in a party of 10. Only two of our party had ever been
on a cruise, and it was on a very
small ship. I was afraid we would all walk around lost the whole trip. After finding our
rooms and finding the itinerary I was
at ease. Our group carried the itinerary around and followed the activities. We had a
ball. Several people in our group
participated in the activities. We all enjoyed the variety of events that went on during
our stay. We all very much enjoyed
Tuesday, when we were at sea all day. The staff was wonderful, we all felt like we knew
them personally. We all had a lot of
one on one with them. Cruise Director Karen Campbell, Assistant Cruise Director Richard
Clesen and Staff Member Joseph
Geiss were especially friendly and fun. They were all someone you could walk up and ask
anything. We had a wonderful
waiter and bus boy, our only complaint was that our table vibrated the whole dinner hour,
since we were at the very back of
the ship over the engines. It was very bothersome at the times that the group was also
experiencing motion sickness. That
was the only complaint anyone of the group had about the whole trip. We plan on sailing
again on Norwegian Cruise Line,
but maybe try another ship.
