This was our first cruise ever. We used frequent flier miles to travel to our port so we did not use NCL's flier program. When we first arrived, we were surprised at
how small the Leeward is. It was right next to another NCL ship (I think the Majesty?) which was about twice the size of the Leeward. However, when we got on
board and moved about the ship, it was not crowded at all and we did not feel cramped.

This vacation was to be a relaxing trip for us and the cruise was the highlight. We did not have to worry about anything or meet any deadlines unless we wanted
to do something special. The staff was very friendly at all times and our steward was always there ready to assist us in any manner.

The first night, the weather was rough but I was pleasantly surprised at how well the ship handled the rough water. My wife, however, started getting a little
sea-sick during dinner and was not able to finish. The waiter, after seeing that she had left, went and delivered the rest of her dinner to her in our room. Even
though she still was not able to eat it all, his service and thoughtfulness was much appreciated.

We went snorkeling in Nassau and had a wonderful time. The guides were super and we even saw a rare swimming turtle. The rest of the time in Nassau was
spent shopping. If we had it to do all over again, we would have gone to Paradise Island. The shopping wasn't that great. All the shops had the same things and
at the same price. The only difference was how much some of them were willing to barter.

Great Stirrup Cay was great. The amenities were super and the snorkeling was great. The food was great and the fact that only about 500 people were there
made it even better.

The only disappointment I had was that there wasn't any lobster or crab meet for dinner. The dinners that we did have were very good until the last night which
wasn't quite as good as the first two nights. It seemed that, by then, everything was beginning to wind down and the crew was getting ready for shore leave. The
midnight buffets were good but nothing to write home about.

The entertainment was entertaining. We enjoyed ourselves at each event but we made sure that we got there early to get good seats because there are many
seats with obstructed views. The performers were of average skill, about the level of good high school or junior colleg performers but if they were any better,
they would be somewhere else making more money. As I said before, they were entertaining and we didn't go on the cruise to see Broadway level
performances.

We don't drink, smoke, or do much gambling so we didn't really get into that scene but there was still many other things to do that kept us busy, if we wanted.
Overall, the cruise was great and we had a lot of fun.
