I took my two grandsons on this Alaskan cruise, along with a group of about 85 people from
a smooth jazz radio cruise I had booked and
organized.
95% of my group had an outstanding time. I honestly do not know of any of my group that
did not, but as I did not speak with every one of them
after the cruise (they were unavailable for the phone follow-up we do upon completion of
the cruise), I cannot in all honesty give you a 100%
figure.
The shows were absolutely fabulous. George M was particularly great. The star, Bobby
someone, was so very talented. He really brought down the
house.
The food was very good. The dining room service was truly excellent. The waiters and
busboys were so wonderful to my two grandsons - and I
noticed they all seemed to go out of their way for the others in the restaurant.
The wine tasting is excellent on this ship. They have an excellent list and the
"class" they give is truly worthwhile if you want to learn more about
wines.
They have free ice cream on this ship, and that is nice.
I have cruised on this ship three times in the last eleven months. Once on 10/27 I did a
southern caribbean, then on 4/27/98 did a 7-night coastal
from LA to Vancouver, and on 6/22/98 did the 7-night Alaska.
The shore excursion opportunities were excellent.
I would cruise on this ship, doing the same Alaska itinerary, again next year - it was
that enjoyable.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give you my opinion.
Sincerely,
Kay Trepanier
