The Marco Polo ranks in about the middle of our 29 cruises. An older ship, it doesn't have
the amenities of the newer vessels. Our cabin was quite satisfactory, although a bit small
for a upper end 'B' level stateroom. The twin picture windows were nice. The food in the
dining room was variable - some meals were excellent, others not so good. We were
disappoited in the duck served twice. The beef was generally superior. The Raffles Cafe
buffet had a nice variety of food, but the temperature control was poor. Most 'hot' foods
were rather cold. The Ambassador Lounge, used as the Showroom, was not great, with posts
obstructing one's view and a flat floor which made rear seats very difficult to see from.
