Our Princess cruise was our first cruise ever, and in general, we were very pleased with
our experiences. At the time, we were 11 & 12 years
old, and this proved to us that cruises don't only cater to the elderly population, but
there were tonnes of things for us to do, and we rarely
saw our parents!!! The ship was huge and gorgeous (Crown Princess) and every little detail
made the trip memorable. The highlight of our
week was the snorkelling tour to Trunk Bay in St. Thomas, although every port we visited
was exciting. We found that we didn't have enough
time to do everything we wanted to on the ship, mostly becuase we were kept so occupied
with the Kids' Program. Parents: There are so
many things for your kids to do, you don't have to worry about them throughout the day,
and the only thing you've got to worry about is not
seeing them enough!!! (Except at meals of course.) It seemed that the majority of the
passengers were aged 60+, 40-50, and fewer kids
(probably only about 30 kids under 18). The food was exquisite in both taste and
appearance, and the service was impeccable. The menu
was different every night to keep your interest, with one formal night and several
semi-formal nights. There was always a wide variety of
dishes to choose from, including delicacies like lobster, sword fish, and baked alaska! We
would reccommend a Princess Cruise to anyone of
any age, although we are now booked on a Carnival Cruise for this coming February only
because we are older teens now and looking for a
more casual, exciting atmosphere. It was well worth the price, and we will never forget
the times we had.
