We had an excellent time on cruise even though we were not entirely happy with our cabin.
It was located on Dolphin Deck
8 and the extreme aft of the ship. When we came into port in the morning, between
6:00-7:00 a.m., it was extremely noisy.
When we complained about this we were told it was from the bow thrusters. Also you could
feel a lot of movement & motion
in this cabin that you could not feel when out on deck. Anyone that is prone to
seasickness would not be happy at this end
of the ship. We departed from San Juan and travelled to Barbados, St. Lucas, St. Martin,
Martinique and St. Thomas and
back to San Juan. Our least favorite port was Barbados and our favorite was St. Thomas.
Megan's Beach in St. Thomas was
fabulous and you could get there by taxi for $4.00 per person. The cost to get on the
beach was $1.00 per person. This
allowed you the use of lounges, picnic tables, toilets and showers. The beach was very
clean and there were no peddlers.
All in all this was an excellent cruise and we would definitely take this itinerary again.
The most entertaining show on board
was called Pub Night and it certainly kept you laughing. John, the Cruise Director does a
superb job. It you want further
