1) Overall, I enjoyed this cruise. (my 4th on Princess) However, I was not overwhelmed by the Grand Princess as I thought I would be. The dining rooms
were a bit claustrophobic--low ceilings and draperies over the windows so you didn't even know you were at sea! Food was good in the dining room, but
just mediocre up at the Lido cafe. Dining room service was excellent. 2) OUr cabin was mid-ship, but there wasn't any close-by elevators. Our cabin
steward was very good. Cabin with large balcony was great--really enjoyed sitting out and watching us come-in/leave from ports-of-call. There wasn't any
privacy on the baclony, but who cares? I wasn't out there nude, anyway. 3) I thought the shore excursions were a bit pricey and most of them were TOO
long--8 hours is a long day in a packed tour bus. The lunches, where provided on the tours, were very bland and unexciting. I would have rather had
lunch on your own and you could've picked a better place. 4) THe cruise director, Keith, was ok, but not very charasmatic. I have had much better
before--he was a bit dull. 5) The disembarkation was a NIGHTMARE! Getting your luggage in the building went well enough, but getting on a bus for the
airport was frantic. There was NO help and my husband had to load our luggage on the bus himedlf, and take it out at the Barcelona airport. Elderly
people were just out-of-luck! THere should have been some help with the luggage. And once we got off the bus there were only 2 Princess reps and they
couldn't even tell us where the Delta terminal was! That was the only big drawback of the whole cruise.
