Princess knows how to do it right. While we experienced minor disappointments and bumps along the way, I can say without a doubt that I will pursue
another cruise on the this ship again.

I traveled as a single with my parents and other family members, all of whom are over 55. Never once did I have to look for something to do.

The space ratio on board is tremendous. you could easily find a spot on deck all to yourself and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets...and even the mid day
sun in total seculsion if desired.

Our steward, Dorota of Sweden, provided the most efficient and courteous service that I have ever expereinced on any line. In fact, I don't know how she
maintained our quarters as she did.

Our waiter, Marcelo of the Phillipines, is most certainly in line to be a maitre'd. The same was true of our busboy, Federico, of the Phillipines. In fact, their
level of service drives me to take a cruise where they are scheduled to work. Many cruises in the past, on the same and other lines, have not been as
pleasurable as this one.

I will note that the cruise was not perfect. The first port in Costa Rica, the waters were extremely rough and the tenders have difficulty loading and
unloading. In fact, a deck hand had is leg caught between the dock and the tender and had to be taken to the hospital with a broken leg. Not the most
ideal location for hospitalization.

Several people took ill and were ushered off board in Costa Rica (hope they had trip interruption insurance).

Our cabin, on deck 9, was in the aft section of the ship. The carpet on the aft deck, smelled of sewage. After five days, the smell disappeared.

The lido deck food was less than desirable for my tastes, but it was on track with Celebrity, HAL, Royal Caribbean and.Premier.

We selected this cruise because of its itinerary -- five days at sea, Costa Rica, Colombia. The passage through the canal is outstanding and well worth the
expense.

Highly recommend finishing off your cruise with a hotel stay in San Juan. We independently booked the Hyatt Dorado Beach...serene, outstanding service,
your own private beach (or so it seemed), and hammock (shoulder season in April around 200 (not too bad). Rodrigo took us everywhere via golf cart - -
a very nice touch.
