For our 20th anniversary, this was truly the trip of a lifetime. We were amazed at the beauty of Alaska; the glaciers were just
breathtaking, and the wildlife viewed at different ports was amazing --- especially the group of whales behind our ship on
evening. The port excursions were a bit pricey, but enjoyable. Fishing for salmon was a lot of fun, even if we lost the only one
that bit that day! We were glad we had allowed for some unscheduled 'free' time at each city to explore on our own as well as
taking at least one of the offered programs at each spot Our only disappointment off the ship was our add-on package at the
end in Anchorage. We did not arrive at our hotel until 5:00 p.m. and had to have our luggage ready for pick-up to leave at 4:00
a.m. the next morning. This made our extra night's stay pretty much useless, as we arrived exhausted and had extremely little
time to rest & explore. We were there for little over 12 hours.

We participated in every ship activity that we could, enabling us to meet many fellow cruisers and cruise staff members. This
added immensely to the overall enjoyment of our trip.

The buffett, dining room and lido deck foods were not as grand as we had anticipated. It was 'okay' but not fabulous. Perhaps
this was due to the quantity of food prepared for such a large ship. The service, however, was wonderful.

Our waiter and assistant were terrific (Silvio and Cruz) and our wine steward Noel was outstanding! Due to a last minute
change by Princess via our travel agent, our anniversary was not acknowledged on the ship as it was to other passengers; but
Noel made it even more special by making a bouquet of roses from paper napkins and straws in a tiny carafe that was waiting
at our table that night. (I still have them on my desk now at work!)

The lounge staff at both Entre Nous and Windows of the World were excellent and friendly. The Sr. assistant cruise director
Don was wonderful, as was everyone we met associated with Princess.

The spaciousness of our cabin was wonderful, and the large picture window made viewing a delight at any time.

Truly a most memorable trip to recommend to anyone of any age!
