This was our second cruise, our first having been aboard the Star Princess two years ago. We liked the Star Princess more than the Sun mostly because
of the Windows to the World lounge on the Star. The Sun Princess is a beautiful well designed ship. We never felt crowded although the ship was full with
2200 passengers. We had an inside cabin on Aloha deck. The room was much smaller than the one on the Star, but had everything we could want
including a mini-fridge. Our cabin steward Mirabo was excellent. He knew our names by the first evening and never failed to leave us extra chocolates
after I asked the first day. We were travelling with some family members and friends and he even knew which people were sisters and brothers by
mid-week. There was plenty of storage for our 5 cases worth of belongings. The Marquis dining room is divided well so you never feel as though you are
dining with such a large group. Joel, our waiter, was excellent also. My husband and I dont eat gourmet foods. We are meat and potato people.

There
were plenty of selections for us to choose frm and Joel never had a problem bringing me items not on the menu. For example I often ordered salads,
dressings and ice cream flavors not on the menu. I also mentioned to our head waiter Luigi one night that I loved guacamole so the next evening our table
was delivered a huge bowl of guacamole and chips to start dinner. We ate lunch and breakfast in the dining room a few times and had excellent service at
these meals as well. Its not a problem to just order a plate of hash browns bacon and sausage. The excercise room is very nice but I was only able to get
a treadmill twice during our seven days. Once was at 2:00pm the day we boarded while most people were still boarding or exploring and the other was at
1:00am the evening after or second formal.

We stay up late on cruises and I could never make it up early enough to get on the sign up sheet. I did my
walking on the Promenade deck though and it worked just fine. The Hagen Daas shop is a complete waste of time and money. Ice cream is available at any
meal in the dining room and frankly the ships ice cream was better than the ice cream shop. The disco is nice, but it was very crowded every night on our
cruise. We got tired of the crowd quickly due to the fact there was no room on the dance floor and limited seating. This problem could be easily solved by
having Karaoke and a pop music band in the Horizon Court evenings. Karaoke was always the busiest time in the disco and there was not enough space.
We even asked in the Horizon Court if we could make pop requests to the band and the answer was they are not capable of playing it. So the space at
Horizon Court went virtually wasted nights we checked in. Apparantly the ship didnt have many Jazz fans.

By the way it was a very young crowd compared
to our last cruise. There were 400 children under 18 due to the Easter holiday. Our group of twelve claimed some deck space just to the side of the wading
pool deck on the front of the ship. The first day no waiter ever came to the front of the ship for drink orders. We met Watson at the Welcome aboard party
and told him we had no service up top so he came up each day thereafter to take care of us. Watson turned out to be very valuable to us, being Jamaican
he also arranged a tour for us in Ocho Rios. He personally escorted us to a driver who is a friend of his and made sure we were well taken care of. Other
than the music our biggest complaint was with the cruise staff. Games were scheduled in show rooms where other activities were going to be held in short
amounts of time. The cruise staff always made lame excuses that they didnt expect such turnouts and rushed passengers through the games. When I
tried to peek through a window in the Princess Theater door at a show in progress a cruise staffer actually sent me away saying Come to the next show,
this is what you paid for. The next show was during my dinner and I thought I paid to do what I wanted when I wanted not what they had scheduled. By the
way the shows we did catch, Oddysea and the comedian were awful, the only good part of Oddysea were the acrobats, and they had cut back on them
from the Mystique show we had caught on the Star. One person in our group actually fell asleep during the show.

We had read Pirates was bad so we
didnt bother with it. And we chose to make the most of the pool during most evenings while it was mostly empty. We had an overall great time, embarkation
and disembarkation were very smooth. The Princess rep even encouraged passengers to go to the shortest embarkation line because the clerk could walk
down and get your card from the other desk and handle it from any station. If you go on the Sun Princess, have a wonderful time. Be sure to make some
time to sit in those wonderful deck chairs on promenade deck. The sound of the ocean and the views from there are the best.
