This was our first cruise, and we were thrilled with the experiance. The logistics provided by Princess cruises were amazing. Embarkation took all of
five minutes. Princess Sun is cashless and the card that they assign you to get into your room is also used for all on ship purchases. Our room was
very small and the bathroom was extremely small (we had a room with a balcony and a double bed on the Aloha deck). Room service for breakfast
was always on time but the food was not very good. Service and food in the dining rooms, however, was a different story. Our waiters were both
Hispanic, and were truly amazing. The food was extraodinary and the menus varied from day to day. We had requested a table for two at the time of
booking and Princess cruise obliged our request. Shore tenders are very well organized and we liked Cozumel the most. We did not go to Jamaica
as we had been there before and cruisers who went to Jamaica were disappointed. The ship is so large and the activities so diverse that one does
not necessarily need to go to shore at all. Service on all the decks and in the lounges was excellent. They did not overcharge for drinks or wine. The
Sun Princess is an amazingly beautiful ship with wonderful staff. We did not have any negative encounters with any of the staff. Overall, we felt that
we got excellent value and we are planning to cruise with Princess in the future. If you have any questions, I would be pleased to respond at
kulisek@uwindsor.ca .
