This was the first cruise for my husband and I which was in celebration of my 40th birthday and our 14th anniversary. I did a lot of research on the internet
prior to deciding on which cruise line and which ship. This website was extemely helpful in my decision and also www.rccl.com lists all lines and ships with
diagrams of the ships, menus, etc. I feel that this research made a big difference in choosing such a wonderful ship. It was the best vacation we have ever
been on and we would definitely choose Royal Caribbean again.

Food-Dining Room/Food-Variety/Dining Room Service: We chose the 2nd seating which we were pleased with. Excellent variety, including Ship-Shape
items, which were cooked healthier, i.e. low-fat sauces and our preferred choice. Usually, a choice of 3 appetizers prepared the usual way and 2 or 3
Ship-Shape appetizers; a couple of usual soups and 1 or 2 Ship-Shape soups; one salad with a couple of regular dressings and one no-fat; 4 or 5 usual
entrees and 3 or 4 Ship-Shape - always seafood and chicken; always one vegetarian entree and 2 or 3 usual desserts and 2 or 3 Ship-Shape. All items
were delicious, except I didn’t care for the lobster, which seemed tough but was cooked Ship-Shape and may have something to do with it. If someone
wanted 2 appetizers, 2 entrees or whatever, they would bring it. Our waiters, Jerry and Sheldon, were excellent. After a couple of days, they remembered
your particular likes and dislikes, like whether you drank Sprite before your meal, milk with your meal or coffee afterwards. And this was with 5 couples
moving around and sitting in a different place at the table every night. One night there were only 3 couples, so they weren’t as busy and told jokes and did
tricks with toothpicks, water, water glasses and napkins at our table. They learned our names and would call us Mr. or Ms. _____. There was a different
theme every night , i.e. France, USA, and they decorated with appropriate country colors and wore appropriate vests. The assistant waiters sang one of
the countries’ songs and carried the countries’ flags. Sheldon would always turn and face his tables while waving the flag to which we applauded loudly.
Our wine steward, Saty, was very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting wines for us. The second night, he remembered what I drank the first night and
brought a bottle of the same and kept part of it for the following night. He was at the wine tasting we went to, where we tried about 10 different varieties
and was very informative.

Food-Lido Deck: The food was good with a good variety but not many low-fat choices for breakfast or lunch. There was rarely a long wait and always an
available table. The first time we went, we were bombarded with waiters who practically forced a Pina Colada in our hand at an expensive price of $5.95,
and then they would tell you the glass was a souvenir. They were too big to fit in with everything else in our suitcase and we ended up leaving them.

Overall Ports of Call/Shore Exc. Variety/Shore Exc. Value/Tender Service: For a first-time cruiser, it was worth paying for the tours and there was a nice
variety to choose from. We took tenders to Labadee, which was very organized. We rented the floats for that day and walked around the beach and ate
lunch on the beach. It was very quite and relaxing. Very enjoyable. In Jamaica, we boarded the tour boat from the pier. We climbed Dunns River Falls. It
took about an hour and was very cool and shady. Along the way, the tour guides would stop and take your picture with your camera. We took tenders to
Grand Cayman. We were used to paying for everything with our cruise card so we forgot to take any money/credit cards and this is the only place we
shopped and where the best shopping was - Coach, Waterford, Wedgewood, etc. Very nice shops and very good prices. But we didn’t have time to go
back on a tender for money and get back in time to catch our tour boat. We went snorkeling with Sting Rays. It was really cool and we got some really good
pictures with our underwater camera. At Cozumel, we were docked right at the pier and went on a Tropical Safari Jeep Tour. There were about 25 jeeps
and you drive them yourself. You drive to a bathroom stop, where you have about 10 minutes, which includes the bathroom, having your pictures made
and limited shopping, if you want. Then you drive on to a part of island with a road only big enough for your jeep. We stopped at a Mayan ruin and then
went to the beach where we had lunch - very good Red Snapper or beef tacos. You could swim here, also. It was very windy and hot and not the most
comfortable trip and not at all tropical. My husband really enjoyed it. We were a little concerned because we were running out of time but the tour guides
assured us we had plenty of time. We stopped back by the bathroom stop, where we were told we had 5 minutes but the lady who took our pictures was
running around trying to sell them to us and we were there a lot longer. We got back to the pier when it was time for our ship to leave - 5:30 - so we
ended up having to run to get back on the ship. Not my favorite day. Next cruise, I would like for us to do more on our own so it will be more relaxing.

Cruise Activities: We were satisfied with the choices. We layed out at the pool, which was very crowded on sea days and usually windy. The first day, we
didn’t use enought sunscreen and got burnt. The pools have salt water, which I didn’t care for. We worked out, went to the casino, I went to a Reflexology
seminar and a Detox seminar and my husband played bingo and layed out at the pool and read. There were always several things going on.

Shops on Board: Other than Grand Cayman, the shops on board were the best places to shop (I do not like bargaining). T-shirts, cold drink huggers,
magnets, etc. were reasonably priced.

Cruise Director/Entert.-Show Lounge/Lounge Service: The cruise director had a fun personality and was humerous, especially in the skit performed at the
farewell show ‘What we would be if we were not upon the sea’. All of the shows were enjoyable, including the Wave Revue singers/dancers, the comedian,
the juggler and the Newlywed - Not so Newlywed Game was really funny. We didn’t care much for the Nat King Cole style singer. Smoking was not allowed.
The bar staff were very nice and would call you by last name.

Cruise Staff: Everyone was friendly and very accommodating.

Cabin Steward: Herbert was most accommodating and entertained us with his ‘Blanket Art’. Every day, he would make something different with the blanket
- a shrimp, a manatee, a basket (which contained our departure luggage tags, etc.), using the chocolate mints as eyes, and he would make starfish and
shells out of my pajamas. He was very nice, quiet and appreciative that we enjoyed his artwork. We couldn’t have asked for a better steward.

Casino/Casino staff: Typical casino atmosphere - smoking allowed. My husband enjoyed playing Craps and actually brought home some money. Plenty of
games.

Exercise facilities/Treatments: There were 4 stationery bikes, 4 stair steppers, 4 treadmills, various machines and an aerobic area. We went around 8:30
or 9:00 a.m. and never had to wait for a bike or stair stepper. It was never crowded when we were there. I attended the Reflexology and Detox seminar
here. The disappointing part was that the skin treatments I signed up for were expensive enough ($135 and $100) and then they put high pressure on
you to purchase products that were real expensive (some of which I did, for another $129). In the last treatment, I was told I needed to purchase three
months worth of products with a total cost of $2500. When I said I couldn’t, she tried to get me to purchase two months worth and finally, her display for
$200. This really made me mad for them to expect you to pay this kind of money, which she said was to pay for research.

Ship Cleanliness: Absolutely no complaints - everything was always spotless.

Deck Space/Space Ratio: The pool area was crowded on sea days but other than that, you would never have known there were over 2,600 people on the
ship.

Cabin Comfort/Amenities/Quietness: We had a larger stateroom on Deck 7 with a full size window and there was ample space for the two of us. There was
plenty of closet and storage space. The only small thing was the shower but it’s to be expected in a small room like that. Actually, the room was a lot bigger
than I expected. It had everything we needed and was very quiet.

Air/Sea Program: I highly recommend it. The RCCL representative was available soon after we landed (we landed early) and walked us right to the place
where we boarded our bus. Coming back, there was a representative available to direct us to the place where we were to take our luggage and where we
boarded our bus.

Embark/Disembark: It was pretty painless. There was quite a line to wait in to embark but a representative went along the line and told us it would be much
quicker if we used our passports instead of birth certificates. Disembarking was handled depending on when you flight time was. We were off the ship a
couple of hours after it began. No complaints.

Stabilization: The first six days you couldn’t even tell you were on a ship. The last day and night was very windy and during the night, the ship was really
swaying back and forth and made me sick.

Overall Cruise Value: We couldn’t have been more pleased and again, I believe a lot of it had to do with the research done prior to choosing Majesty of the
Seas. We can’t wait to go on another cruise and we will definitely choose Royal Caribbean again!

Our group consisted of my husband, Jason, age 24, my parents, Andy and Gini, age 40-something, and myself, Lisa, age 22. We travel fairly often, but
had never cruised before. I'll divide these comments into categories, but feel free to contact us if you have any questions at all.

Overall Impressions:

Everything was truly amazing. I know I've given quite a few 100s, but that is because I honestly feel that those categories deserve it. The ship is very
beautiful, and large enough that I never felt crowded or wanting for privacy. Embarkation was delayed for awhile because four weddings were held on
board, and the wedding parties were boarded first, but after this was taken care of things went smoothly. I had heard horror stories about debarkation,
but we experienced no problems at all with it. We were on a Miami Highlights tour that day, so we just met our group in the Blue Skies Lounge around 9
am and were off the boat by about 10:15. We found our way around the ship pretty easily, especially with the maps that are found on every level. It was
a wonderful experience overall. Our cabin (inside, deck 2) was small but pretty. We had two cabins next door to each other, and there was plenty of
space for two people. Our cabin steward, Neville, was great, and his 'towel art' was great, from the stingray wearing sunglasses with our stuffed cow
riding on its back to the pair of swans whose heads and necks formed the shape of a heart.

Dining:

I could write a novel on this topic. The food was exquisite, and both our dining companions and our wait team were among the greatest people we've
ever met. We're maintaining friendships with all of them. If you're planning a cruise on the Majesty anytime soon, request Bernardo and Jairo, Maytime
Dining Room. They were hilarious, but very professional. Food included caviar, lobster tail, deviled crab, cannoli, and filet mignon. Our head waiter, Pablo,
was very involved and helped make our cruise a pleasure. The Windjammer Cafe was good as well. Service there was better than expected, and the food
quality was terrific. We dined there for breakfast and lunch only, as every dinner was dedicated to spending time with our new friends.

Ports / Shore Excursions:

Excellent, with one major exception. The Brimmer Hall Plantation / Dunn's River Falls Tour (Ocho Rios, Jamaica) was presented as giving equal time to
both places, but in fact, our time was spent at the falls and shopping in an area recommended by the guide. Only a few minutes were spent at the
plantation, and then only because we begged. If you're interested in seeing a plantation, I would recommend the Prospect Plantation tour. However, our
table mates also took the Brimmer Hall tour, on a different bus, and spent plenty of time there, so I think it was mostly a function of our particular tour
guide. Otherwise, the ports - Labadee (Royal Caribbean's private island, part of Haiti); Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; and Cozumel,
Mexico, were incredible. If your ship docks in Cozumel, you have to see Carlos and Charlie's. It was the wildest, most fun bar we've ever been in.
Shopping was decent, but be prepared for extremely aggressive vendors in Haiti and Jamaica. You can get a great deal from them, but be prepared for
some heavy duty haggling. Also, if you're not interested in buying, don't stop to look. If you show interest in an item, they will literally chase you down
trying to make the sale.

Entertainment:

This was a mixed bag. The Cruise Director and Cruise Staff were excellent, as were the comedian, and the comedy juggler. Also, the various activities
were a lot of fun. The musicians were good as well. However, the Wave Revue (singers and dancers) left a lot to be desired. They seemed very fake, like
there was no heart or soul in their performances.

Well, I think that about wraps it up for this review. Please feel free to e-mail with any questions at all. I've got our dinner menus and our daily Cruise
Compasses (lists of activities for eack day), plus tons of videotape and pictures, so I'll try to answer anything to the best of my ability.

Lisa

This may be one of those mass-market 'average' cruises, but it still felt to us like a great value. With the exception of Ocho Rios' taxi-driver gauntlet, we enjoyed
all the ports (Labadee, Grand Cayman and Cozumel being the others). We very much enjoyed the stingray sandbar excursion in Grand Cayman and the
(somewhat long) Tulum Mayan ruins excursion. Embarkation and Debarkation went very smoothly in Miami. Food was very good and service excellent. The
entertainment, depending on one's interests, was very good. The cruise director, Paul Rutter, was the best of the 3 we've seen. We had extremely nice weather
all week and scarcely noticed any movement of the ship. The cruise staff ran a snowball bingo games that paid over $11,000 on the last day. In the casino some
minor jackpots were hit and we found the casino personel to be charming and pleasant. Many of the people on this cruise were from Massachusetts. Presumably
this was partly because it was school vacation week. We ran into several teachers from Mass. There were children of course, but we did not find them at all
intrusive. There was a wide range of ages, including 184 honeymoon couples and a dozen or so couples celebrating anniversaries upwards of 50 years.

On the negative side, we had our toilet flush spontaneously in the middle of the night for two nights in a row, apparently caused by water being shut off to make
repairs. One of those nights we could hear the toilets flushing all the way down the hall. After the second night I complained to the purser's office. The crew
member there at first pretended to know nothing about it, then said he believed they had fixed the problem. On the first night we were seated by ourselves at a
table for 8. After apology from the dining room manager, we had a full table the next night and on one evening were graced with the Chief Engineer's presence.

Would we do this cruise over again? In a heartbeat.

This was my first cruise and I went with another single girlfriend of mine. We were delighted with the appearance of the ship, it was like a grand hotel. The service
was impeccable. Our cabin steward found everything we thought we lost and even fixed my friend's shoe, the heel broke off. The staff and bartenders and just
full of joy and excitement. The dining room experience was always fantastic. If there was not something on the menu that you preferred, our waiter would find
something else to suit our tastes. We had second seating, which usually got over around 10:30 pm. Therefore, we only went once to the midnight buffet. The
crab claws were fantastic. People usually say that they gain mega weight on a cruise, but we found that not to be true. I actually lost 2 pounds because I was
participating in every activity. I usually took the stairs instead of the elevators. The elevators tend to be a little slow. We didn't hit many ship shows because there
was usually something else to do that fit our taste. The Newlywed and Not-so-newlywed game and the comedian were great, don't miss those shows. Also, the
karoke and sumu wrestling was histerical. I would definately recommend getting the full-body massage and facial special, it was $59. It was only during the
docking time at Cozumel, later, the price went up. It was fabulous, I felt like butter afterwards. The cabin was small, but for the limited amount of time spent there,
sleeping only, it was suitable. We barely slept all week because we were having too much fun staying up all night. The only bad thing I have to say is that the
cruise line totally overcharges on the shore excursions. The ship wanted $79pp for horseback riding in Jamaica. The ship sold out and I asked if I could do it on
my own and was told that the ship reserves all the horses for this occasion. Well, I, along with four other single people went out on our own. In Jamaica, we spent
$25pp for the taxi, including tip; $25 horseback riding, including tip; $6 to climb Dunn River Falls; and $10 for snorkeling. All together we spent $66 for one
fun-filled pack day in Jamaica. If we used the ship, it would have costed well over $100. If you are not the timid type, I encourage you to explore on your own it's
well worth the money. Basically, five of us singles hung around together and refused to be overcharged. We did everything on our own. They say you cannot
scuba dive without being certified, well in the Cayman Islands, 10 mins down the rode, we paid $66 for a resort course to scuba dive for approx. one hour or so.
It was breathtaking. I was part of the school of fish, there were so many. Overall, this vacation is the best vacation I ever took. There were 2500 people on the
cruise and I made friends with at least 1700. It's been two days since my vacation is over and I'm still singing the songs and feeling great!!! Enjoy!!!!! We did!!!!

You could find small things wrong with the ship but only if you really looked. This was a first class vacation all the way and the ports of call were excellent.

First, the low points. The poolside band (Cruise Control) was not very good and they played every day!! The same songs over and over and over. The sports
equipment (basketball, ping pong, shuffle board) were in lousy shape. The deck wait staff could be very annoying at times but some were very entertaining and
by the end of the week we had our favorites that we gave all our business to. The pools quickly filled up with children. Maybe an adults only pool would be good.

The rest of the cruise was excellent! Labadee was beautiful and relaxing. The snorkeling was so-so but the island was worth discovering. Ocho Rios was not a
great city to visit but Dunn's River Falls is a must see. We took the San San Yatch and found that it wasn't worth the money! Climbing the falls was great but don't
stay with the group and you'll have a lot more fun. The tour promised 1 hour of snorkeling but it was more like 40 minutes and they made you follow a guide! The
free drinks all the way back to the ship was worthless for a 15 minute ride. Grand Cayman was excellent all the way around. Incredible snorkeling (or even
SCUBA) just a 2 minute walk from the pier at Edon's Rock. We then went to the Marriott and stayed all day on their beach which was beautiful. Cozymel was good
also. Great shopping and food in the city and the state park had good snorkeling and a nice beach. The cab fares were cheap also and they had cheap long
distance calling right on the pier (beats the $15/minute ship charge).

The cabins were comfortable enough but we had what the staff said was the worst sailing night ever on our last night at sea.

The longes each had their own appeal. We would go up the the Viking Crown for drinks and watching the sunset. The Schooner Longe was my personal favorite.
A comfortable, not crowded piano bar right next to the casino. The windjammer cafe was nice also, especially for breakfast and for a quite dinner away from the
loud dining room. The dinning room was a good experience all around. We had an excellent waiter, Angel, and the food was of good variety, presentation and
flavor. Angel was extremely honest about the flavor of each dish and let us know his favorites for each course. You also can get a much as you want so try
different things!!!

A great week all the way around! Also, fly in a day early in you can. We got a beautiful suite at the Wyndham over looking the harbor and you can prepare for
embarkation at the hotel with now lines to wait in.
