This was our second cruise the last being on Celibrity Century. I must admit we did like the Century a little better. The food and
staff were just a lttle higher class and of course the Century was brand new. That is not to put down the Majesty. We had a
fantastic time and loved the ports of Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

Our biggest dissapontment was the food in the WindJammer
Cafe. I am formerly a Chef of twenty years and while the food in the main dining room was of good variety and taste, the Cafe
food was something you would find at your local cafeteria. Maybe worse. On our welcome aboard buffet in the Cafe, I was very
surprised to find one of the entrees to be FISH STIX. That is not what I would call cruise caliber food. Although we ate in the
dining room as much as possible, I heard many compaints about the Cafe food.

Our waiter Michael from Romania was the
best. He was professional and knew how to joke and have a good time too. I also have to give high marks to our cruise
diredtor Paul Rutter. He was smooth and professional wether on stage on on deck.

We went on three excursions, Sting Ray
City, The SunDancer Yacht to Dunn's River Falls, and our favorite, The Cozumel Island tour to the ruins and snorkeling at
Chankanab National Park. All of the excursions were worth the trip and well run. While we really enjoyed Grand Cayman and
Cozumel, Ocho Rios Jamaica was a little scary. We found a great taxi driver there to give us a 1 1/2 hour tour of the island for
$20. His name was Sampson. We heard of a tour bus being robbed at gunpoint and you want to stay in only the good areas of
town. The entertainment on the ship was top-notch with the exception of comedian ?? Jimmy Wallis who was a nightmare. The
rest were great. The entertainment staff also had some fun things going on. Kareoke, Sumo Wrestling, Majesty Quest and the
Not-so-Newleywed game were some of our favorite parts of the trip. We want to keep trying different cruise lines but if we had
to choose, we'd take Celebrity over RCCL.

Overall, not a bad cruise experience.........HOWEVER, having sailed on the Monarch of the Seas, and the Sovereign of the
Seas, (it's other twin sisters, prior to this, ) I would have to say they consistently outshined this vessel in all aspects.
Entertainment on the other two vessels headlined Bobby Rydell, Ben Vereen, and Lauren Bacall; on the Majesty they
presented Phyllis Diller, whom we love, but she was the only outstanding act of an otherwise tedious week for
entertainment. The ports of call were a major dissapointment, except for Cozumel, but having cruised so much I am
aware that this is not the fault of RCI.........Ocho Rios Jamaica was a disaster! Panhandlers everywhere, and the worst
docking facilities I have seen throughout the Caribbean........If you opt for Dunns River Falls' tour, take a ship-sponsered
tour there, as it is quite unsafe venturing out alone! Grand Cayman meant EVERY vessel must tender their passengers,
and with 6 ships docked off-shore that day, you can imagine the chaos in GGeorgetown when almost 10,000 people
jam the docks land side! For the ship itself, it is quite clean and beautiful, but we found the staff much more aloof and
bland than on many other RCI vessels of comparable size and age........food was mediocre, including room service, and
did this vessel rock and roll!!! The first entire day at sea out of Miami, the sun never came out and they had to lock the
electric sliding doors on the entire port side of the vessel so passengers would not slip on the wet decks outside.........if
it is nightime and ship-board fun you are expecting on a Western Caribbean cruise, your time and money may well be
spent much better on Carnival's Imagination, which visits the same ports with better entertainment, the equivalent, if
not better food, and much, much larger standard cabins ( 185sq.ft vs 122 sg ft on the Majsety). Bon Voyage!

My wife and I had a great time on the MS Majesty of the Seas. The food was excellent and plentiful in the main dining room.
Take as much as you want. was excellent in the main dining room, and they will give you as much as you can eat. I had four
lobster tails, for instance. The service was excellent . In the Wayfarer, however, the breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired.
The scrambled eggs were badly undercooked, to the point of being inedible. The rest of the food was ok, but definitely not
great. Unfortunately, my wife needed medical attention. To our surprise, the medical staff and the doctor were excellent,
along with the facility. It appeared they wre up to any emergencies. We were shocked that the visit, exam, and two
perscriptions only cost $47.00. RCCL, keep up the great work. We are already planning our next cruise, back to the eastern
carribbean. We plan on sticking with RCCL, as they were were head and shoulders obove the other two lines we cruised on.

This was the fisrt cruise for my wife and I, and it was everything and more than what we expected. The ship was beautiful and constantly
being cleaned. The food was great! Basically I'm a meat an potatoes but I took the recomenddations of our waiter and was never
dissapointed. With 13 meals a day we choose to use the stairs so we didn't gain too much weight Our dinning room staff was nothing short of
excellent. Room service was also great. My wife was in heaven 24 hour coffee stations. We took 3 tours all were enjoyable. In Labadee we
took the snorkling trip to Amiga Island, although we had never been snorkeling before we received excellent instruction and it became my
wife's favorite tour. In Jamaca we took the trip and climed Dunns River Falls. This was my favorite trip. They were beautiful and refreshing to
climb. In Georgetown we just walked the town and shopped. Excellent buys on jewelry. It was without question the cleanest of our stops and
the people we all very nice. Our last tour was a little pricey but we had an excellent guide so it was very enjoyable. We took a bus trip to a
ranch and went horse back riding. The ship's entertainment was first class. There was always something to do and it seemed as if the had
something for everyone. Or there was plenty of deck space to just lounge and relax in the warm sun. By the way the weather was near perfet
until we returned to Miami. There was only one down fall and that was arrival back in the States. The disembarking process reminded me of
my days in the service Hurry up and wait. When we finally did get off the ship baggage retrival and getting on the bus were a nightmare for
many. We were warned by the travel agent to retrive our bags and make sure the were loaded onto the bus that we were actually getting on
to. We had to be rushed through the airport in order to get our plane. Anothe couple from our flight bearly made the plane and the boarded
with out their luggage which was misloaded at the pier. In Royal Carribean's defense it was terrible weather and people were running about.
We will certainly cruise again and it will will certainly be on a Royal Carribean Ship.

Cruise Date Dec 7th - 13th, 1997

We were first time cruisers. What we knew about cruising we gained through friends or through Web sites. We spent many hours gathering information on our specific cruise. The info turned out to be worthwhile but in the case of the reviews, very subjective. I’ll try to be objective as I can in describing our experiences.
We left for the cruise open-minded but anticipating a very special vacation. We were not disappointed. We’re already talking about the possibility of another cruise. The following is an overview of our experience on the ‘Majesty of the Seas’.
We decided to book a room near the Phila. airport since our flight left early and the hotel allowed us to park in their lot all week at no extra cost. Our decision helped eliminate a lot of the early morning airport hassle. Next cruise we’ll consider flying to Miami a day early. If you have that option, do it!
When we arrived at Miami airport there was a very pleasant RCL rep to greet us. Then a five minute walk through the airport to awaiting buses. There can be a delay expected for bus departure depending on what time you arrive at the airport. Our flight was late so our wait was only about a half hour. You’re not permitted to board the ship till early afternoon so an early morning flight means you’ll probably wait either at the airport or on a bus touring Miami. Our bus trip to the ship took approx. one half hour, with a driver who pointed out landmarks along the way. (tips accepted).... We were anticipating a time consuming check-in once we arrived at the ship. As it turned out , there was very little difficulty. A ten minute wait to clear security and get our all-important ships ID card. Then another short wait for a photographer to take our picture as we boarded the ship. We were immediately escorted to our stateroom where we were introduced to our cabin stuart ‘Arless’. He turned out to be excellent. Although , we very seldom saw him, all our cabin needs were addressed without ever asking . By four pm our bags were delivered to our cabin.
About the cabin: We purchased an upgraded cabin on deck nine which came with a large window and plenty of closet space, drawers and mirrors. The bathroom facilities were more then adequate. It was kept very clean. Hot water was never a problem. Also, the cabin had a ‘safe’ with a personalized combination. That meant no running to another deck to check-in valuables. The cabin had a TV where all important ship information was broadcast 24 hours a day... If you missed a lecture about a tour, you’d just turn on the TV and view a taped rerun.... Another pleasant surprise was how quite our deck-nine cabin was for sleeping. By the way, there are no clocks in the cabin. A portable alarm came in handy. We felt the cabin upgrade was well worth the extra charge. It was especially nice when we’d first wake, pull back the curtain to discover yet another beautiful tropical island .....Oh, for the fun of it, leave a robe or nightgown on the bed when you go to dinner.
The safety muster takes about an hour at the most. It’s a bit annoying. The ships crew takes it very seriously. If everyone cooperates by being there on time it goes much quicker. If you’ve seen the movie ‘Titanic’ you’ll probably listen closely to what they have to say.
About the food: We found the food to be very good overall. In some cases to be excellent. In other cases to be only average. Again, this opinion is strictly subjective. We go out to dinner often and are fortunate to have many great restaurants in the Phila. area. In our opinion not all the ships entrees could be considered gourmet. All the beef dishes were excellent. The salmon was also especially good. On the negative side, an eggplant entrée was undercooked and not very good. Both service and atmosphere get an A+... Yes, there were fish sticks served at the upper deck buffet, but to be fair, at the same buffet there was also a beef carver serving excellent cuts of beef... We traveled with another couple.. ‘friends of ours’... and requested a table for four ,although, there were tables for up to ten people.
Note: Listen to what the waiter recommends and order accordingly. If there’s ever an occasion you can’t decide on an entrée, just order both of them. No problem! Dining room service for 2400 people, all served in four seatings. Impressive!
About the service: It’s so well orchestrated and efficient that at times you feel you are being rushed ... And you are...I think it’s because many nights there’s a show right after dinner and it’s the servers’ responsibility to see that dinner stays on schedule. So, don’t expect a break between courses.

Ports of Call:
Labidee the RCL private island was a favorite stop of ours. Leaving the ship takes a bit of time depending on when you go ashore since the tenders only hold about 200 people. Rent a floating pad for the beach. They’re well worth the five bucks.
Jamaica was the next stop. Although there are many tours available, we opted to just visit the Falls. A cab ride to the Falls shouldn’t cost more then eight to ten dollars. It was tough bartering with the cabbies because they wanted more. They seemed rather angry with people from the cruise ship. At the Falls there was a strawmarket where the merchants seemed very aggressive to the point of where it was almost impossible to shop. I saw a woman try on a hat. They insisted that meant she bought it! We both agreed, given the choice, we would have stayed aboard the ship and enjoyed the pool.
Georgetown, Cayman Islands: Beautiful port... We shopped and enjoyed the beauty of the island. Sales people allowed us to shop without pressure. We met a man dressed as Santa who said he arrived on a cruise ship, decided to stay and make it his home.... We understood why.
Cosemel Mexico: Another wonderful island. Great snorkeling! The people were friendly enough although we were warned to be careful and to stay within recommended boundaries. Friends of ours who visited the ruins said the tour was well worthwhile ,but it does take most of the day. In all ports of call we had to be back on-board ship before five PM.
Entertainment: We got to see every show. Most were good. It’s apparent that a lot of work goes into the production of these shows. Again, it’s a question of personal taste. No big name stars entertained on our cruise although we had a comic and a juggler that were first rate. Also, Dominic Allen the lead singer from the group ‘Foreigner’, was a personal favorite. If you get the chance, don’t miss his show.
Debarkation: If there was one portion of the cruise that was a bit unpleasant it would have to be debarkation. We were instructed to tie colored tags to our luggage and place the bags in front of our cabin the night before departure. The bags were picked up during the night. The next morning after breakfast we grabbed our carry-on bag and left our cabin for the last time. Then came the wait for our ‘color’ to be called. People with the earlier flights were called first. Our color was finally announced at 11:00 AM for a 1:30 flight. There was a long line to an enclosed hanger where we again met up with our luggage. Once we found our bags we carried them across the street to awaiting buses where we jockeyed for position to be certain both our bags and ourselves got onto the same bus. Originally our bags were to have been checked straight through to our final destination, but we discovered by being so late we had missed the ‘American Airlines’ bus. This meant that once we got to the airport we were responsible for baggage check-in. It happened to be raining that day, (the only rain we saw the whole trip), which only added to the unpleasantness. Like a rude awakening from an extremely pleasant dream.... It was back to reality!

NOTES:

Most cruisers this particular week were forty five or older, with many retired couples. Although, there were thirty to forty newly wed couples.... A young single ‘party’ person may have found this cruise rather boring.
The swimming pools are saltwater and drained at night. Nets are placed over them for obvious safety reasons. Fresh water showers are available right next to the pools.
If you like to exercise there’s a workout room with treadmills and steppers. There are only five treadmills for 2500 people, but they’re only busy on the first day.(?) I worked out daily and was able to walk onto a machine every morning without a wait.
I recently read a review that complained about carpet stains. Yes, there were some carpet stains if you looked for them, but overall, we were impressed with the cleanliness of the ship.
Less then one half of the men wore a tux on formal nights. My advice... If you own one take it, but you won’t feel under-dressed in just a dark suit... Collared shirts and slacks were the norm on casual nights... Most families with children were first seating.. We opted for second seating (8:30), which gave us time to relax before getting dressed for dinner.
In summary... Cruising may not be for everyone. We found few secluded beaches and you do stand in line on occasion.. Activities are somewhat scheduled and general announcements are heard throughout the day. Regardless, we agreed this was a vacation that we totally enjoyed and plan to do again. Next time we’ll try and organize a trip with a ‘group’ of friends.

The cruise turned out to be as enjoyable for my entire family as I had hoped it would be. My wife and I were concerned that someone would
find reason to complain. With 3 son's ages 20,17,16 and daughter age 10, we were concerned that the cruise would disappoint someone.
Not a soul complained. Everyone enjoyed the cruise. My children found no complaints with the food. They enjoyed the unlimited supply of
entree's and desserts, attended all midnight buffets and also ordered once or twice room service. With the shows, bingo, excursions,
gambling and kid's connection they did not complain once that the trip was boring. That is quite an accomplishment. The ship is well
maintained and shows very well. The brass railing and glass all throughout the ship are always being polished and cleaned. I was not at all
disappointed with the appearance of the ship. Our cabins were very quiet and well maintained by our cabin stewards. Boarding the ship was a
breeze, disembarking is a disaster. Do not think that you exit the ship the same floor you entered. Announcements are made frequently that
you are not allowed to congregate around the purcer's desk. Do not be misled by all the passengers who are lined up ready to be first off the
ship. You could only exit the ship by coming from the upper floors and down a staircase only accessable from that direction. If you have an
early flight back home it better be later than 11:00 AM or you might not make it. Customs did not clear our ship until 10:00 AM. My flight
was 10:55 out of Miami. We had to fight our way off the ship and luckily located our bags. If you do not flag your bags with BRIGHT ribbons or
tagging of some way so that they stand out, you may never find them. It was a race to the airport and we made it with 4 minutes to spare.
Quite an experience! All in all this was a great vacation.

Majesty of the Seas Review……12/28/97…… Family of 5….3 kids ages 14,13 10 (all girls)

Overall - FANTASTIC!! Best family vacation we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to cruise again, maybe this winter.

Travel Logistics - All our arrangements were made through our travel agent through Royal Caribbean. We chose the
pre-day arrival option and highly recommend it to everyone. For $190 (total) extra we flew the day before, got 2 hotel
rooms at the Hyatt Regency, relaxed at the pool on Saturday, saw friends Saturday night and were able to check in for the
cruise at the hotel on Sunday morning. This saved us all the lines at the pier and we were on board by noon.. The transfers
from the airport to the hotel/pier were fine…some lines but never waited more than 5-10 minutes at any time. Our flight
home was not great as it didn’t leave the airport until 5:30PM and we had to wait in the airport the whole day. Next time I
will invest in the extra $35/person to pick my flights (still through Royal Caribbean-would have done it this time, but didn’t
realize the option existed). Luggage always showed up where it was suppose to and on time.

The Ship - Incredible! Five adult lounges with different kinds of music and events scheduled every night and day. In addition
a teen disco for the kids. Dining rooms on two floors. Overall ship was very clean, no wear and tear that we could notice.
Centrum was shiny and glossy with very nice shops. Pool deck was excellent with plenty of lounges. Bars everywhere; if you
want to drink its very very easy. In summary; they said we had 2500 passengers on this cruise, this ship is so nice and big
that it never seemed crowded and we almost never waited on line.

Cabins - Definitely small but were comfortable. Any more than 2 adults in a room will make it difficult to dress and get ready
for dinner. We had our 3 kids in one room and they seemed to be able to cope (except for the usual fighting that 3 sisters
will have). The showers are tiny..if you drop your soap you almost need to be a contortionist to pick it up. Beds were fine for
sleeping. Each room has a TV but not a clock. If you have an inside room (we did) a clock is a necessity, bring your own.
The TV shows some free movies, has pay movies, CNN and sports on the weekends. You can even gamble on video poker
on your TV in your room. They also video a lot of the events that took place during the cruise such as 50’s night, shore
excursion talks, etc and show them on the TV all week.

Food - The food was one notch below gourmet but was very tasty and definitely plentiful. Dinners in the dining room were
very good. Our table was for 5 people, our family. The menu every night offered 5-6 entrees and choices for appetizers and
soups as well. They had a "shipshape" menu as well which offered a healthier fare. My wife tried this twice and thought the
dishes were very good. The portions were small but your waiter will be more than happy to bring you as much as you want.
Quite often I chose one entree but told my waiter I wanted to try something else as well…never a problem. We had
breakfast a couple of times in the dining room. It was nice because usually the kids were still sleeping and it was just my
wife and I. Breakfast was very good as well and was basically a pretty standard menu. We usually had breakfast and lunch in
the Windjammer Café. An important point; there have been many messages on the Internet which were slamming the food
in the Windjammer as cafeteria fare. That’s pretty true, except it was very tasty cafeteria fare. The salads were fresh,
hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza and chicken very good. One message was very upset that they served fish sticks on Sunday
when you boarded saying that fish sticks were below cruise quality. I don’t know about what should or nor be served, but
they were the best fish sticks I ever had. The lunch on Labadee was also very cafeteria style, but also once again very good.
The midnight buffets were either in the dining room or in the Windjammer. We went to a couple. They usually centered
around the baked items which always were top notch. Overall: not gourmet, but a varied menu that was tasty and satisfying.

Service - By far the best thing about this ship, and from what I’ve heard RCL in general. Our cabin steward magically put our
rooms in order twice daily and always was ready to serve any special needs. Our kid’s room always had a special touch
ready for them as the steward laid out their stuffed animals (teenage girls) on the beds each night. It made the girls feel
really special. Our waiters were incredible. We had Sinisa from Croatia and Dino from Honduras. You must develop a
relationship with your waiters as its part of the fun and entertainment. Once again the girls were astonished how Dino had
their drinks memorized after one night and had them served before they even asked. Dinner was always part of the fun, not
only a meal. Our head waiter, Mauricio from Italy, also made it a point to stop by each night and engage in some
entertaining conversation. Also, the waiters do a little song and dance 2 or 3 times during the cruise. We had and
recommend the 1st seating for dinner. Its a little better if you have kids than the late seating. Also, we met a family who had
the late seating and they thought it conflicted with certain activities they wanted to do. The bartenders were also top notch.
Overall: The service is an 11 out of 10. You will be made to feel like a King and Queen. You will want to tip your steward and
waiters generously, I can almost guarantee it.

Entertainment - The cruise staff was fantastic. The cruise director, Kyle Dotson, was very good but his staff was even better.
Richard, Bobby Bingo and Scott were incredible. The evening planned events such as Karoake, Majesty Quest game, Sumo
Wrestling, Trivia and Newlywed-Not so Newlywed game were really funny. We had a blast playing Bingo. Bobby Bingo makes
it an entertainment event rather than just a game. We won $400. On the last day, the bingo jackpot was $10,000. It seemed
like the entire ship came to play. By the pool they had horse racing, belly flop contest and other games. The professional
entertainment was average to good. We saw the Platters (they were quite good, I was surprised). But, several comedians
and others were average. The ship’s singers and dancers who put on the Vegas style shows were very talented but there
shows didn’t do much for me. The bands in the lounges, however were great! They had 4 or 5 different bands playing each
night, all different styles of music including, Big band, Popular, Island/Calypso, Jazz, Latin. We especially liked the
Island/Calypso band "Cruise Control". If they are on board you must spend at least one or two nights with them. The college
crowd seemed to especially like them as well. The singer in the Piano Bar, I think his name was Perry Grant, was also really
good. He drew very big crowds. I’m not sure he is still on the ship as I thought he said he was taking a vacation after New
Years. We didn’t go into the adult disco as it was too smoky for us. I heard from other passengers that it to was very good
and the DJ played excellent music. The cruise staff says many times throughout the cruise, "remember you will never see
any of these people ever again, so go nuts and enjoy yourselves". They are so right, a big part of the fun is watching your
fellow passengers really let loose. If you participate you will enjoy it that much more!

Kids - My 14 year old had an incredible time as she made friends quickly and we only saw her during dinner and shore
excursions and when she was checking in. My 13 and 10 year old stayed together with some friends they met and also had
no complaints. I think one improvement is that they group the pre-teens (9-12) too much with the 6-8 year olds which kind
of puts a damper on how much the older kids want to get involved with the planned activities. Even though, they kept
themselves very happy on their own.

Shore Excursions - I can’t really address all there is to do as this was my 1st cruise (in 17 years), but I can surely tell you
what we enjoyed. Labadee: great day in the sun, definitely take a banana boat ride. Its like a roller coaster in water (no
upside down stuff). Jamaica: Dunns River falls while touristy, was very exhilarating. My wife and kids rated it top notch. Great
for pictures as well. Grand Cayman: Can’t really say, our snorkeling trip to Stingray City was canceled as the seas were a
little too rough. The shops were open but since it was New Years Day, the town seemed a little deserted. Cozumel: My
favorite. I thought by far the best shopping. My wife and 2 of my daughters went horse back riding through the jungle and
said it was great. My 14 year old and I rented a scooter and drove the island and did some shopping. We had a great time.
Definitely lunch at Carlos and Charlies. Once again a little touristy, but well worth the entertainment value, the place is wild.

Well that’s about it….it was the best vacation I can remember in a long time. I’ve already made reservations for next New
Years, my kids can’t believe it! If you have any specific questions feel free to e-mail me. Good Luck!!

My husband and I were very impressed with the overall appearance of the ship when we first boarded. Everything was very
clean and presentable. Our embarkation went very smoothly; we were quickly processed onto the ship and were helped to
our rooms by friendly onboard staff. We found our room to be neat and clean-and it continued to be so throughout the
cruise. Our cabin steward was wonderful; extremely helpful, friendly and very accomodating.

We enjoyed the deckside pool areas but found them to be a bit crowded on 'at sea' days. The bartenders mixing drinks
were very friendly but the bar staff taking drink orders-both at poolside and in the lounges- tended to be a little less
accomodating; service was a triffle slow and curt at times.

We didn't go on any excursions; the one we signed up for was cancelled due to bad weather. We did go ashore several
times which was enjoyable after you made it through the mobs of taxi drivers. We didn't enjoy the 'private island' stop very
much. There was only a small section of beach available for swimming and it was crowded. It was also located next to the
boat dock where fumes from tenders in transit were annoying.

The food in the formal dining room was presented well, but the quality was not consistantly extraordinary. The food at the
Windjammer Cafe (Lido deck) was a good casual alternative.

The spa treatment was a disappointment. Although the 'head to toe' massage was a good idea(though a bit pricy), the
amount of time the therapist/sales rep spent trying to sell us beauty products detracted from the overall value.

The disembarkation process was chaotic and disorganized. It was a very poor end to what was an otherwise enjoyable
week. The staff themselves seemed confused and supplied inconsistant information. Buses were few and not clearly marked;
we were lucky we had a late flight out of Miami

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would cruise on this boat again.

I found this to be a most enjoyable cruise. I felt that the crew was well organized and well trained to see to the needs and
desires of the passengers. Everyone was well mannered and most helpful. They would always try to accomodate any special
requests that one might have . The food was well prepared and served with presentation. The waiters had a lot of charisma
and would try to please you in anyway that was within their power. On the night that lobster was served everyone at the
table was given unlimited lobster. I did not really enjoy the midnight buffets because I did not like the type of food served at
them. However, my husband did enjoy the midnight buffets because he liked that type of food.

The service was excellent. The cabin steward made sure that the room was always spotless and you never saw him, except
in the hall. He was in and out before you even knew he had been there. The excursions were plentiful and fairly priced. They
were easy to schedule and changes could be made right up to the last minute. We really enjoyed the excursions.

This was a wonderful cruise. We do plan to schedule another cruise on the Royal Carribean line again this summer. Thank
you, Linda Cantrell

This was our third cruise. We usually take it during the New Years Holiday because we have had such a great time before. The price of the cruise at this
time is more, but you are going at a prime time. Our room service was excellent. The cabin steward always had our room ready and waiting. If we needed
anything at all he was there to take care of our needs. As a matter of fact I asked for some extra Chocolate mints you get at night and when we left the
ship he gave me a whole bag of them to take home. Our waiter was excellent. The assistant waiter was new and needed some experience. He was often
late with beverages, and at times would try and clear the table before we were ready. He was trying to stay ahead for the next seating. After the first two
days he seemed to improve a lot and was more organized. The ship itself is the sister ship to the Monach in which we sailed on previously. Like the
Monach the Majesty is a beautiful vessel. During our cruise there was a Christmas tree on every level. The Captain and crew were very friendly. We met
them during the formal night. The cruise director always kept you busy. There always seemed like there was something to do whenever you wanted to be
active. The lounges and showrooms had great entertainment and beautiful dance floors. They were large enough to dance and enjoy it. Not running into
each other. The shore excursions seemed to be a little pricey, depending on what you really wanted to do. Scuba diving and snorkling on the Grand
Cayman was breath taking. It is probably one of the best dive sites I have ever had the pleasure of observing. Stingray City was just fantastic. We took the
excursion at Cozemel where we rode horses. This was a big disappointment us. We were expecting to ride on the beaches and all we did was follow a trail
through the woods. We will not repeat this costly mistake. Was not worth the money we spent for it. While on the ship we had a massage. Although it was
relaxing and felt good, The prices were pretty steep and the beauticians tried to sell us more products which also had a pretty high price tag. The stores
on board had some good and some bad prices. Like any where you have to know what to look for. This cruise was very relaxing and we enjoyed it
tremendously. We plan on cruising again in the near future, and will probably stay with the RCCL because we have not had a bad experience with them
yet. We have sailed with them three times now. We plan on going one of the new ships next time. Last but not least. This may be a little pricey for newly
weds, but do not wait like we did until your 25th anniversary. We wish that we had done this years ago. We probably would have taken 10-12 cruises by
now if we only knew how nice they were. Hope to see you cruising the seas!

This was our first cruise and unknowingly not to be our last. From the first step on board to our debarking last step, we were treated as Royalty, to use a little
pun. We had chosen the 7-day Western cruise to 'test the waters' and see places not before seen by us. After settleing, we were treated to a buffet lunch,
some free time to explore the vessle, then the mandatory instruction for the proper emergency procedures on a ship.....Then on to a night and day at sea. Our
first sightings of land was Labadee, a delightful introduction to the Islands ahead. Our day on the island was full of exploration, games, swimming and capped off
with a Royal bar-b-q. Transportation to from the ship was not a problem since shuttles ran quite often. Food?...dinners, breakfasts on deck, snacks and midnight
buffets and surprise treats in our cabin, each presented with class and supurb quality. If you ever wondered if you would acquire extra weight, forget it..you're
too busy running around day and night to see and enjoy all. The two days at sea, one going and one return, were filled with choices for everyone, every age.
The next stop was at Ocho Rios and we planned the 'climbing' of Dunns River Falls. We had so much fun that I believe we spent two rolls of film there. A restful
night at sea, waking to our approach to The Grand Cayman Island. We chose snorkeling for the day and what a surprise to find ourselves in the middle of Pirate
Week in the Caribbean with waterfights and all. The theam of Pirate week followed us throughout the cruise. Back to the ship to eat again, play again, maybe
some sleep again. For our final chosen destination, we visited Cancun. This part of the trip we did not care for. We were water-taxied from our ship to shore,
waited for busses to take an hour ride through poverty that we had never seen before, armed men searched cars of the traveling residents. Once we arrived in
Cancun, we had only a couple of hours to tour the area, then back on the hour ride bus to Cozemel to board our ship. Our choice should have been Cozemel.
This one stop did not place a shadow on our trip. If we choose the same trip, everything except the last would be included. We knew we were heading home, the
chart of the vessle showed more red than green and we couldn't mention to the Captain that 2300 plus passengers were ready to talk him into turning the
vessel around. The staff of every care, gave us the worryless pampering we needed. ..Thank you for our wonderful 'second' honeymoon.
