I took this trip with my boyfriend, his aunt & uncle and their two kids. The embarkation was great. Very easy and quick. Make sure that you have
lots of singles ready for the guys that help with your bags!

We checked into our cabin and I was very surprised at the size. We didn't spend much time in the room, so it wasn't that big a deal, but being that
this was my first cruise, it sure did look smaller than I had expected. At one point I put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door because there was so
much clutter in our room I didn't think that the cabin stewardess would have room to move. She caught me putting it out and insisted that I give her
10 minutes just to make up the bed. I am glad she did because we had no idea how to make the two twin beds into a queen size. She was great,
her name was Sara. She introduced herself when we first arrived and she explained the towel, dry cleaning, room service procedures. She even
let me into my room when she could see that I was digging into the bottom of my purse to find my key. I can't say enough about the great service
we received from her. None the less, our room was comfortable and quiet. (7th floor)

The food the lunch buffet was okay. It wasn't great. I noticed that each time we ate in the windjammer café that the plates were so hot that you
couldn't even hold them. We had to take ice from under the salad bowl and melt it on our plates to cool them. Even then they were too warm to put
salad or fruit on.

The pool was so small!! I was so surprised! It was like piling 1000 people into a 2x2 pool. It was so packed and there several unsupervised kids
splashing around. That too was nothing like I had expected!

The food and the dining room service was top notch! We thought that the head waiter was a jerk though. He yelled at one of the waiters in front of
us. The poor guy was just having a bad day and dropped a plate. Stuff happens! We felt bad for the waiter, and were disappointed in the head
waiter. I felt a little underdressed at dinner. I was told to bring ‘something other than shorts' for dinner, but that was an understatement. The
majority of the women were in nice (not formal, but nice) dresses. We were very pleased with the amount of pictures that were taken of us and
were offered so quickly to buy. They were a little pricey, but worth it.

Nassau was okay. We were a little disappointed that you could only pick one shore excursion because they were all offered at the same times. We
took the close encounter dolphin excursion which was well worth the money!! It was amazing. My boyfriend and I took turns going into the water so
that we could videotape each other. You get to pet the dolphin, dance with him, hug him, kiss him, & touch his teeth. It was something that I
probably will never have a chance to do again. (Good for all ages) We shopped in Nassau afterwards. We got back on the boat and there was no
food available anywhere. We ordered two slices of pizza from room service that took 40 minutes or so to get to us, and when it did, it was raw! We
were so hungry we didn't feel like waiting another 40 minutes so we ate it.

We went to the ‘It Takes Two' show which was cute. We went to the Newlywed Game, which was hilarious!! The cruise director did a great job with
that. We went to see the comedian. The room was so packed that we couldn't find a seat where we could see! He was funny though.

We went to the disco two nights. We were less than impressed. The DJ was lame, and the place was dead, but there literally was nothing else to do.
Late at night, we found ourselves sitting on a deck chair with nothing else to do. During the day, the only pool activities that were scheduled were
while all of the shore excursions were going on.

CocoCay was great. We snorkled (which was amazing) and rode the banana boat (very fun!). The children's activities were very short (water
balloon toss, relay race) and not very well organized. The bathrooms were disgusting (which I guess is expected of any beach bathroom).

Getting off of the boat was just as easy as getting on. Overall, I had a great time. My boyfriend, on the other hand, could not stop talking about how
Carnival was better. Bigger pool, bigger rooms, 24 hr. pizza bar, more activities . . . . you name it, he found something wrong with it. I guess our
next trip will be on Carnival!!
