We had no expectations as the Nordic Empress was our first 'Royal Caribbean' experience,
and were we ever impressed! We jokingly talked
about what complaints we could possibly make, and were astounded that there really wasn't
a negative about the trip. The staff seemed to
outhink us in that category, and we happily noted that.
The food was outstanding, not just the taste and variety but more importantly the service.
The entertainment was truly Broadway quality. We
were kept busy every moment of the day, but of course that is what we chose. If we
rathered, we were certainly afforded a clean and spacious
room in which to rest, a room which contained a private balcony and all the comforts of
home. The cruise staff gave us ample information we
needed to make informed choices at our ports of call, which relieved a lot of tension
concerning what to do and what to expect. Nothing was left
for question.
We traveled without children and were looking forward to adult-only relaxation and
entertainment. This is the only area of our trip that I was a bit
disappointed in, as there were many families and an abundance of children. But this is a
plus for those people who are considering taking their
children. Bon Voyage!!!
