This was a good cruise. The captain of this ship is the most welcoming we have ever had on any line. All the primary
service people (anyone expecting a tip) were wonderful. The other crew members were rather unfriendly. Often a smile or
hello to a repairman or baggage handler went ignored. The food was consistantly great. My husband will not eat anything
that is not simple. Our waiter grasped that fact on the first night and changed any selection to suit him. We had a great
bunch at our table which goes a long way to making meals even better. We were a bit disappointed in the offered shore
excursions. The raft ride in Jamaica was fun, tho not strenuous. The Cayman mermaid party boat was a complete waste
of money and even more importantly, time. We went on the Jeep adventure in Aruba. A bit too adventurous for me, my
husband loved it. Snorkling in Cozumel in a choppy sea. The guides on this one are literally lifesavers. The entertainment
was mostly bad. We had a pianist who liked to lecture, David Brenner, a singer, etc. The comedians were the best but
nothing really outstanding. Our shipmates were quite a bit older than us and seemed to love a lot more of the acts than
we did. The cabin had a large window and all the amenities needed. I had no problem with the size of the bathroom or
closets. Our cabin steward was the best ever. I will cruise with rccl again if they have the best itinerary at the time we
want to travel. But I must admit that they will not be my first choice.
