Dining room food and service excellent. Excellent wait staff that
met our needs.Windjammer Cafe traffic pattern entering and
exiting poorly planned. A lot
of confusion attemting to exit. Food not always warm.
Entertainment in show lounge excellent and varied. Seating
arrangements excellent.
Shops displayed merchandise in front of shops on racks and
interfered with traffic pattern. Almost a fire hazard.
Cabin service excellent. Kept very clean and cabin steward
attentive and responsive.
Disappointed with shore excursions. Lot of riding on bus with
little time to stop for a reasonable time at historic or
important sites.Return of shore
excursions to ship very late in four instances. In one instance
they pulled up the gangplank as we were the last to return.
Lunch arrangements poorly planned in relationship to afternoon
shore exursions. Windjammer Cafe opened at 12:30 p.m. and most
shore exurcusions
departed at 1:00 p.m. Dining room opened at noon, but one had to
be on shore at least 15 minutes prior to departure of bus. Lunch
was hurried.
We have sailed on Holland America many times, Celebrity, Costa,
and America Hawaai as well as three times on RCCL. We would rate
RCCL near the top
at all. Not sure we would go again.
