Overall the ship was beautiful, and the crew was very good. I loved the decor and found
all the public rooms to be the most beautiful of any ship I
have been on lately. I found the shore excursions a little overpriced for the value
recieved. They rushed you through the tours so that you could
spend alot of time shopping, where the escorts must have gotten commissions for bringing
you to the tourist traps. If I had it to do over I would
have preferred to hire an English speaking guide, if one was available, to take my time
visiting Ephesus as it was very difficult walking at the face
pace needed to keep up with the Escort, who was more interested in taking you to the rug
factory at the end of the tour. Comments have been
made about how small the bathrooms are, but I felt that they were very functional and had
lots of storage and shelves for toiletries, and lots of
plush towels. The hand held showers were marvelous too. I thought the Club room for Dining
was just as good as the 2 specialty dining rooms. The
Grill room service and food was very good but I was a little disappointed in the Italian
dining room as far as selection and food. The Casino was a
little small.
