Why Sail NCL?

We have sailed NCL twice, and both times felt the line offered a fun experience and an excellent value for the money.  NCL is unique in their "sports afloat" program and theme cruises that often feature celebrities.  Other positives about NCL are:

  1. Cabins are beautiful and spacious
  2. Public areas are not overly crowded, and there is plenty of deck space
  3. Size of ships like Dream and Wind is nice - not too big to get lost on,. but big enough to be stable and have a variety of public areas
  4. Food and service at Le Bistro is great
  5. Waiter and busboy service is excellent (as was service from the entire staff and crew)
  6. Ice cream - it's made fresh and is terrific
  7. Entertainment  - only line that does true Broadway shows
  8. Variety of age groups on board
  9. Great sports afloat program
  10. Theme cruises for sports, music, etc., featuring celebrities

We feel NCL's minor negatives are:

  1. Drinks not good, and overpriced
  2. Public areas not as clean as other ships
  3. "Casually dressed" crowd on formal nights

NCL is great for first time cruisers, singles, honeymooners, and those who love sports-oriented activities.  But on both sailings we were on, we saw all age groups enjoying themselves.  It is a fun atmosphere, but not the "party ship" feeling of loud music, announcements, etc. all the time.

Why book your NCL cruise with us?

When you contact us to get pricing or book your cruise, you are harnessing the volume buying power of Uniglobe, a $1 billion company and one of the largest travel agencies in the world.  Uniglobe has recently developed its new Cruise Ship Centers, specializing in cruise travel.

We have a very close relationship with all the major cruise lines, including NCL.  Uniglobe will often contact sales executives at the line to negotiate special "group rates" that other agencies can't match.

sonjabwphoto.JPG (9097 bytes) I will give you the friendly, personal service that my clients have enjoyed since 1994 - the kind you would get from a friend at a nearby small travel agency.  But the difference in booking through me is that you also get the buying power that only a $1 billion agency can provide.  We feel we are unique - most large 800# agencies employ dozens of "order taker" agents. They receive minimal training, have to sell you quickly or get you off the phone, and have a questionable amount of actual cruise experience.  And, good luck getting help if you have a last-minute problem.  When you book through me, you get the friendly and knowledgeable service of a local expert, but you also utilize the buying power of a mega-agency.

Bon Voyage,
Sonja Megenity
