This was my first cruise, and it was an entirely positive experience. The WindSong
approach of casual attire makes the experience very relaxing.
Food was superb, including 24-hour room service. The staff handled all requests quickly
and properly.
The island excursions were fun, but the high point of the activities was the ability to
scuba dive. The ship has a compressed course on the first
day, and after that you can dive--with an instructor--throught the cruise. I took several
dives in what I'm told is some of the clearest water in the
world. We saw incredible underwater vistas, as well as a huge variety of fish, manta rays,
eels, and even sharks. (They aren't even remotely
interested in humans, by the way.)
I would do the trip again without hesitation, and if I could, I'd book two of them
back-to-back. There's that much to see.
